hi Piratica , welcome to FAC , first off i would suggest you go have a look round all the forums and read all the rules , the rules are slightly different for each section so it pays to read them all , some general rules to keep in mind : stay on topic , dont double post (post one thing after another post of yours ) spamming (posting stuff that dosent make any sense ) and no one or two word replies annoyes a lot of people ) i think thats about it . if you have any questions ask them here , ive probably left out a lot of stuff you need to know , so just ask away ^_^

go to "forum home " with the list for all the forums , at the very top , right beneath the blue banner it says "FAC rules revised" , go read them . some forums will have there own rules , ok ?

I remember that moment; the moment I found out this website had a forum...it was months after I registered, as well. But it's never too late, my friend. I would like to see your work, and regardless of the quality, I will like it and possibly touch myself to the caliber of work put into it.

And don't worry about having nothing to do; we ALL have nothing to do, which is why we post on forums...they are simply time-fillers, until something more important comes along. The people who obviously have nothing better to do, are the ones with 7 To 10 of those ridiculous blue squares under their titles.....and also, if the title is personalized to fit the member, then need I say more?

Welcome any and all newbies. And we certainly are getting a few in here since i last checked in Smile

Feel free to ask for any help should you need it. We're more than willing to help answer any questions should you have any. And as we always advise new members, to go look at the rules and read through them, learn them. And go through the forums looking around where you can to get use to the place and get a feel for it.

But i'd like to take the time and point out a few things. Like about signatures. There are rules against how much text you can have in a signature or how big an image. For one thing, you shouldn't have all the lyrics to a song in your signature. That's a little to much. And you shouldn't have any images bigger than an avatar or banner sized image. Which i see at least two people from when i last replied here, do. So if those could just please change that. Otherwise i'll eventually have to go and remove it myself if don't. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

And spamming, is not permitted outside the spam board. I'd ask that everyone stick to welcoming the newbies, helping them with any questions they might have and adjusting the forum. We don't need random images being posted or randoms comments. Thanks, but no thanks.

Yes, FAC tis a pleasant environment for anyone looking to have verbiage exchangings with people around the spherical globe many call the Earth planet. I must say, I have had a rather randy time, the wee time I have spent here. I only wish I could post more, for there are just so many interesting paraders here, whom I am rather quite sure, are taken with the ordering of such an established forum website.

I am ever so elated to be a member here, and hope to possibly be more beatified in future encounters.
