How do you get the pics when you are doing the forums?

The pictures used in forums are called avatars .
The best thing to do is to go to a search engine (google ect.) and look up images . Then either type in avatars as a general search or the name of specific character\person.

But to upload them...

on the top of the page, you should see something like "My Controls" Click on that. Then you'll be taken to a new page with a menu on the left side. Then click on "Edit Avatar Settings"
Then its pretty much straightforward from there.

(I think it's the third time this week that someone's asked this question... o.o)

Note: This is for personalized avatars, although you could still use the forum-supplied ones.

All right. I'm going to sum up in this post what everyone else has said. All you have to do is first: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PICTURE. It can be anything, really, but something not too obscene. Make sure it's not too big, either - one about the size that I have is good (100x100px).

Then follow the link that EN1X gave you (it's on [b]every[/b] page in the forum under the ads under the FAC banner).

From there, there should be a menu on the side - click on "Edit Avatar Settings" under the title "Personal Profile".

Now, there should be a a blank bar beside the words "Upload a new image from your computer" - click on the browse button and locate the image file you have saved on your computer.

Now finish off with the "Update Avatar" button, and you should be done with a new avatar.

URL, not ULR. URL = "Uniform Resource Locator". In layman's terms, it's a web address. URL's generally begin with "http:" and/or "www", and they are always displayed on your browser's Location bar. Look up at the top, that's the URL for the current page.
