Could've brought this to our attention privately... I'll start reading game threads more. I don't care if it's all spam, it's not [i]supposed[/i] to be. They are supposed to be atleast half-way decent posts about video games. Which is wy it will not stop counting for post count.

Anyway, thanks about letting us know. I'll check it out and handle things accordingly.

I PM'ed fallen about it last Thursday, and she switched the post counts off on the 1st. There was a complaint about that within 24 hours, too -- read the thread in Site Discussion.

True, it wasn't a decision voted on and acted by majority, but most of us agree with the logic behind it.

Yeah, it does need to be moderated, but should post counts stop there? maybe it [i]would[/i] slow spamming.
I made one game, and there are too many people spamming in it and messing it up. I'm losing interest in it because of that. Why do people care so much about post counts anyway?

What the hell? I usually contribute to games section in a more civil manner than my usual.

Of course, that doesn't apply to Kingdom Hearts or those favorites threads.

Oh, wait. The forum games section? Is that what you people are talking about? I don't spam in there. I usually make a post or two, playing whatever game seems interesting, and that's it.

I think he ment the other games section, the one with the "rate my signature", "fortunatly/unfortunatly", "items from above", etc. A specific few people have been spamming those threads. For example, one person would ask a question, someone would reply with "I'll pass", and the asker would reply with "me too, since I asked it." I mean, is that even nessicary? :huh: A lot of it has also been, "I think you're cool!" "I think you're cool too!" "Aww, thanks! I feel loved!" and not even on topic.
