I'll have to check that out sometime.
The major problem with "real" dragons is their traditional image as four-legged, two-winged flying beasts. For one, there are no known animal/reptile species with six genuine limbs, and for another, it's awfully hard to keep a creature of any large size airborne.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

First Response: Dude, that's friggen awesome.
Second Response: Holy crap I actually get Animal Planet at school and can actually watch this!
I'm gonna have to tell my dad about this, we've discussed this before. It's possible for them to have existed...perhaps if they were built more like a Wyvern, with the forelimbs as wings and the hindlimbs as legs. The size of them is almost certainly exaggerated, maybe the size of some of the larger flying dinosaurs. Possible...very, very possible.... |

If dragons were real, why are they not around today? The clips shown that the dragons lived in an arctic enviornment so an ice age could be easily ruled out. |

The ads for it are out on TV now, and there was an article about it in a recent Starlog mag... judging by the CG, they'll be considering both wyvern-style and classic-style dragons. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Gawd, I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas. Perhaps I shall attempt to convince the VCR to work for me so I can tape it... ^_________^ |

I found it interesting how they found scientific explanations for how the body of a dragon could have functioned if they existed |

Dude, shiriva, the whole point of it was to ask "what if they were real"? Yeah, some of the dragon/human interactions were a little low-budget, but you have to give them credit for all the time and thought they put into the dragons.

My brother made me watch it. I had to stop myself from laughing through the whole thing. Nice CG, but this theory is highly unlikly. There's no way sch giant creatured would evolve wings.
I loved the part where big Momma dragon was setting the eggs aflame. Reminded me of Norbert.
The entire show was bullshit, but my otherwise intelligent Mountain Dew chugging brother thinks they existed. There would have been fossles. There is no evidence. It's not a good design for a land animal, natures' too perfect and carful to do that. _________________ Mohawks are beautiful sculptures |

HELLO?! just because they haven't found dragon fossils doesn't mean there weren't any! good grief, they find 100 new trilobite species every year for crying out loud! |

Sure, Dogss, you fall right into the first of three camps about dragon theory.
Let's see here, EVERY human civilization has some form of dragon myth. People in the medieval ages would swear that they real, yet look at you funny if you described an animal as strange as a rhinoceros or squid....
Which means that there are three possible explanations:
1 - Mass coincidence.
2 - Dragons were probably stories based on reptiles, lizards, and other kinds of animals.
3 - Dragons were real. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
