Name That Tune

Let's start a little game shall we. It's called name that tune. The rules are simple. You have to post the first verse and the chorus(if there is a chorus) of a song. It can be any type of song. The other people guessing must name the title of the song and the artist.

Let's start with an easy one.

You know, this game is great in real life, if you have XM radio, chat rooms, etc., but usually people just type a few lines into a search engine and ruin the game.

I made it easy so the game wouldn't stop after only two posts. Also had to pick one where the title wasn't in the "chorus". Had I wanted to be difficult, I'd have picked something along the lines of

the band was big in the '70s (and everyone is led to believe it was all disco then)
they were of the "classical rock type" yes, genesis, renissance (but on the pop end)
this was the last song on thier biggest album (1979 biggest)
they were from England
and the song is about how the Brits felt about America, the US is arguing back in the parethisis and the nome of the song is a refrence to America
