Perhaps it's just time for a new moniter. My own moniter did the same thing to me a couple of weeks ago... so I just got a new one. It's bigger and brighter then my old one. It's almost like getting a whole new computer! (almost but not quite). _________________

Probebly monitor dieing, but could be the cable.

If the data cable is removable from the back (most are unless its really old) you can try replacing the cable. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

Have you tried demagnitizing it? There's usually a button on the monitor color sys tem that looks like an upside-down U with a diagonal line through it. That will demagnitize it, but only use it if you really need to. It's only good for a few times. This usually helps with distorted picutres, but I'm not sure whether or not it will have any effect on the color. _________________ |

 | Try a diffrent monitor and cable on your pc. If that fixes it, use the other monitor with the old cable, if it still works your old monitor is fucked. Buy a new one in that case. If that doesn't help it could be your videocard, but I doubt it. |
