CHESTER BENNEITON DOES NOT SOUND LIKE TEDDY BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!On the other Hilely Duff and Haly Duff suck butt. Britney spears sucks. Grr!

Basically, fiona, I think that what people at your school like doesn't mean you should dislike it. After all, who knows? Maybe there might be a good song at your school that you like. Just a suggestion

Eh. . . I hate Brittney Spears, of course. And that chinease dude from American idol. . . William Hung. He sucks.

Let's see here. . . I hate. . . JoJo. Yeah. I'm more of punk pop type person. JoJo does not fit my description of a good singer. Her voice sounds so sickly sweet it makes me want to barf.
I also dislike Toby Keith. What is so special about him?

Avril Lavigne is Britney Spears without the Playboy body (although Brit has apparently put on some pounds lately) and with more angsty makeup.

yup. and eventually, you just wait, soon enough Avril will turn out just like Britney Spears- absolutely hated, even by her own fans that used to adore her.

Wait untill the media chooses the next 'cool' music or 'artist' to market and Avril will be stripped of her popularity.

The only differences are that as far as I know, she does sing live. And she writes. However, what she writes is hardly worth reading (Sk8er Boi, for example. And don't whine about her songs that aren't singles being better or whatever that one about a bridge was being more "deep". It's all superficial teen poetry full of pretty cliches and metaphors...or pop garbage, those seem to be her topics of choice).

Her image sells. The little punk princess, for all the girls who don't want to grow up to be Barbie. She's the new Madonna, only with worse music. The "rebel".

the worst part about it is that its based on the showtune from fiddler on the roof and she's missing the whole point of the song by singing it. not to mention as you said, sounding untolerably annoying. Gwen Stephani just wants to be a pop star so she get big recogntion. she's the epitome of selling out, and she knows it.

I hate most singers who emerged from Disney sitcoms and turned out to be singing wannabs. I mean, even if they can sing, doesn't mean they should. Unless you're talking about Hilary Duff. What happened there? She just outright can't sing.
