I still say game glitches are a conspiracy. The programmers are laughing at us..........right now. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. I actually caught it, since I found out about this thing by pure luck. Only thing it did was make the pictures of pokemon mess up a bit. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

counter strike: in the deathmatch map I tried sneaking up on the enemy by balancing on the walls. someone shot me, I lost my balance and I fell out of the map I was walking under the freaking map and STILL got shot after trying to shoot through the freaking floor, or rather, roof from my point of view at the time |

There was one glitch in Tokyo Xtreme Racer3 where you buy parts for your ride. You choose either the inexpensive heavy ones or the expensive light ones. I choose the expensive ones. Now there comes a choice of colored or natural color. The natural color is lighter. the positions are the natural option is on top and the colored option is below the natural option. I want to make my car lighter but I hate the natural color of the carbon fiber. Here's what I do. I put the cursor on the colored option. Then I exit the menu. I get back then the cursor is back at the natural option. The only thing different is that it is colored but the wheight is of the natural color. So, I choose it. That's one good glitch. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. Armored Core 3. In the arena you picked the parking lot, and due to it's low roof, any opponent who liked to fly was buggered. All you had to do was sit in the corner and wait until the computer tried to fly over you, they would land on your head, leaving them wide open to your biggest guns. I beat the all the top fighters with this method. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time -
My sister stumbled onto a few weird ones. First, she was hanging from a beam near a T-shaped intersection. She tried to jump the Prince off of that beam, but because she was so close to the intersecting beam.... the Prince did something weird. He was in his "falling" motion, yet he was not falling, but for some quirky reason floating slowly backwards across the length of the intersecting beam... then when he hit the wall, things paused for a few seconds, followed by a game over with the Retry/quit options.
Another one I can remember, in the library, there's one spot where you can jump off a ladder, hit the wall, then drop and land on a pole (the kind you normally swing on and off of). But instead of catching it, the Prince actually lands ON the bar and gets back up, then you're standing on it instead of hanging from it like you should be.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

this is an old glitch. In an Aladdin game in my sega(it was years ago), in stage 2(Desert) the first enemy tou encounter is a temple guard on a platform. I tried once to jump on the tip of the platform and ya know what happened? Freefall. Aladdin fell into an endless pit. I lost a life and I had to repeat the stage*sobs* _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. Metroid Prime 2. After defeating Dark Samus the first time and getting the Dark Beam, for some reason I couldn't switch back to the normal Power Beam :o
Do you know how much trouble it was to have to go through the Dark World without being able to light up any of the beacons? Especially when you run out of Dark Ammo?
It felt like forever until I found the Light Beam, at which point things became noticeably easier.
Turns out that it wasn't the game responsible for this -- my controller's C stick (which, in MP2 is responsible for switching between weapons) is wearing out and the Y-axis is sticking. It moves left and right fine, but up and down are barely working anymore.
Time to get a new controller. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I haven't played it myself, but my friend did and he actually had the same thing happen to him once. Needless to say, he was swearing a lot. |

Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles. Beat the final boss Darth Maul and for some reason I died as well and the game crashed. That was a bloody hard level as well. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

The best game glitch is in Knights of the Old Republic where the whole game crashes and you lose your file and then you throw your controller across the room in a white hot rage because you have put in 40+ hours to the god damned f**king game!!!!
(this is a real glitch and it sucks brass balls) _________________

Release the anger, Will...
Yeah, I remember that Pokemon glitch. My little brother was very fond of it, to the point that he just caught everything with Masterballs.... |

That's just plain crass. Pokmon Gold? I spent the Master Ball snagging one of the legendary beasts. Now that Lv.70 Ho-oh was a prized catch, and damnwell so, because wearing him down took nearly an entire hour!
But anyway.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Anyone hear the story of the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo for PS2? Apparently when you played it, it erased your entire memory card. That's just wrong. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

My favorite glitch is in true crimes streets of LA on the gc. You are supposed to be doing a stelth mission. well, in the verrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy begining of that thing if you are aginst the wall and try to roll, you will go under the floor. It is a lot easier to sneak through when you can't hit anything. |

If you want a glitch you'll never forget, Missingno from Pokemon Red and Blue! He glitches up your graphics and your Hall of Fame, and it's one of the most well known Pokemon glitches! Missingno rocks! |
