Boy Bands

Okay, you may think I'm joking, but I seriously do love boy bands. The music really is interesting, and you must admit.....it does get stuck in your head. Wink

Now, there are many different kinds of boy bands. You may go back years ago to the days of Backstreet Boys and N'sync. Yes, yes, I know, they were exciting! I went to a Backstreet Boys concert and sang to EVERY song! I also went to an N'sync concert. I got a hat from that one! Maybe I'll post a pic from that one later. :wub: My sister was excited to have company, but I didn't care about her. I just wanted to see them pretty boys!

You could also say Green Day and Good Charlotte are boy bands, but that is just a disgrace to the name Boy Band! They are just ditching the pop name!! I'm sorry, but pick a genre boys!

Also, has anyone heard any more news about Backstreet Boys comming back? I heard they were going back out on tour and then I heard just today about a new song! I have to hear it so I can tell if they are any good still.

Okay, well, what do you guys think of Boy Bands?

im scared....
i figured..boy bands would be like...any band with boys in it..not just the freaky pop ones...dammit i hate being a slow person!

Nah, boybands are pop ensembles. New Kids On The Block, O-Town, N'Sync, whatnot. New Kids On The Block were pretty much the first one.

True. But not quite in the same way New Kids On The Block were. The Monkees appeared to be a real band but did mostly nothing. NKotB were more of a vocal and choreographic arrangement, like the current ones are, purely for the music industry and not a television show.

A minor difference, but as far as being the first boyband as we know them today. Meh.

I personally hate boy bands, but green day was good for a while. Then they went pop punk. Stuff like Dookie and Nimrob were good, old school, punk/alternative.

The only one I like which I wouldn't consider being as low as Backstreet boys...Green Day I LOVE Billie Their not this low

Like I love the band called...can't remember the name, but it was a reality show..O TOWN!! That's the name! Those guys kick pebbles like nobody's business!

They have that one song, that if you listen to it you might think it's the Backstreet Boys.....but guess what? IT ISN'T!!
