First Anime -^^-

My Little Pony. That was the first pseudo-Anime I saw, I dont think it was ever dubbed in Japanese, but all the animators where from japan, and all the voice actors went into the anime dubbing field.

The First real made-in-Japan anime I saw was Sailor Moon, when I was in sixth grade. There is no gateway-drug Anime better than Sailor Moon All my friends got into Anime through it.

Mine was Ninja Scroll. I think but there was this one I cant remember the name of, it had I think five or six kids on it and the had like robatic lions that they summoned and the could join togather, kinda like the power rangers. They did a remake of it but im talking about the original.

Anyhoo lots of ppl seem to have watched saliormoon first. I guess I'm the only one who hasnt seen it. WTF?

My first was My Neighbor: Totoro! ^^ So cute! And then came Pokemon and Yugioh which hooked me.

When I was real young my first anime I ever saw was megaman, I used to think to myself "Hey, why does the theme song look cool but when I watch the show the animetion isn't good?"

Then I got into Sailor Moon and DBZ...(shudders) Oh those were the days...

The first anime I ever saw was Astro Boy, but I was very young at that time, (like 4 or 5) then came Knights of the Zodiac (I was like 5 or 6) but I didn't know what anime was until I was about 9 years old when I saw Dragonball for the first time. Now, at 17 years old I'm proud to say that Dragonball is still my favorite! although I like DBZ the most (it's the same thing) Very Happy

Oh, wow. That brings back memories.

The first anime I ever saw was Sailor Moon. I was obsessed with that show. I'd watch it every single day, skipping my chores and homework just to catch it. I rented the movies (not being able to buy them with my lowly allowance) and bought the merchandise. I think that I even have a Sailor Mercury doll somewhere in my closet...

I got "un-obsessed" when I was online looking for pictures of Sailor Moon to post on my desktop. I had forgotten to change the preferences to "Strict Filtering" on Google (I didn't know any better, being as young as I was), and saw something, well, hentai. Oh, the tentacles...

Years later, I found some SM manga and read it, finding it to be much better than the anime. Though, I'm still not as hooked.

Technically it was pokemon but since that show just sort of... scares me now, I'm going to say Spirited Away, seeing as it's the second one I saw.

I can't remember. I used to hate anime back then.

I still can't figure out exactly what happened, but it hed something to do with Kai from Beyblade.

I can't remeber what the first anime I ever saw was. At the time I didn't even know it was anime.
I'd have to say Megaman was the first that I can rember. Trigun was the show that really pulled me into anime later though. GO VASH!!! WTF?

It was either DBZ or Salior Moon. Toonani ruled back at it's start, now it beghinig to suck... Sad

A couple of my friends still love it, but only because of the short skirts.

I think the first anime I ever saw was Sailor Moon when I was little. I remember I had to watch it every day and I threw fit if I didn't get to see it. My sister and I even collected some of the dolls.

I watched alot of anime on cartoon network. Is anime on any other station regularly?

They have quite a bit of anime on those cable networks, but it's pretty expensive because you have to order the channels seperatly.

my very first anime was Ranma 1/2, when I was 11 years old (whew...long time ago). Actually, it was my first Manga as well! ^_^ I think thats why I love it so much. Then came Oh My Goddess!, Urusei Yatsura, Yuu Yuu Hakusho (I saw it before it came to America) and So on. I remember watching Sailor Moon dubbed on TV too, and DBZ on saturday mornings Very Happy

Like alot of people my first anime was sailor moon i was like six when i first saw it and i got really hooked on it and i still am i love to rent and bye the movies. I don't really like the manga but i love the anime my fav char is sailor jupiter aka lita. i wish they wouldn't have taken it of the air Sad

it was such a good shoe but i do like others like inuyasha, which hunter roben, tenshi muyo, and DBZ. So thx for listening. Very Happy

lol actually it was Inuyasha, it was before i had even known what anime was (i didn't even know sailor moon or DBZ was anime) and i saw it on adult swim one night and seriously FELL IN LOVE with it lol Inuyasha made me the otaku i am today and it will always have a little place in my anime filled heart haha!

If i am correct it wasn't all that popular in america when i first started liking it, i consider myself an offical inuyasha fan haha Rolling eyes
