Another Spring

Okay, I know spring STARTED a little bit ago, but around here it JUST started getting nice out. I don't know about you, but to me, spring means one thing.

Mowing lawns. Every spring starts the same thing again.....
Luckily, I only have to cut two lawns(which may cut down to one, since my next door neighbor is moving) But, the first cut is always annoying. The grass is so long!!! I'm actually taking a break from my neighbor's lawn right now, because I'm that tired. I'm bagging all that grass, but there's still grass spewing everywhere! SO MUCH GRASS!!!!

Anyway, what does spring mean to/for you? Any extra chores? Any hidden meanings?

Taking the trampoline and raking the dead grass. Its definetly a job that takes up all of a Saturday. :wacko: But it also means no snow and once Christmas is over I'm really sick of snow so I'm always a happy person when the snow melts. Smile

But it also means a lot of rain and a lot of rain means lots of thunderstorms too. I don't really like thunderstorms. Uneasy

Oh yea! Oh man how I LOVE thunderstorms! :wub: I go outside or to the nearest window during one just because it's so awesome. I could watch/listen to a thunderstorm all day man..........

AP testing and final exams. Whoooooo. <_< On a more optimistic note, spring also means that the mornings and evenings are usually warmer, and summer is on the way. Very Happy

Weather. Walking the dogs in the green of the dense wood. Blazing white clouds pitched against the serene blue sky.
Bluebells reaching up for the shortest period to catch a glimpse of the sun to only go back to sleep for another 9months. Daffodils; yellow as the sun, fragrant as a bouquet of finely picked roses of sweet sentiment.
All enjoying the bird song and rustle of the squirrels playing in leaves under a shady tree. They seem to smile with me as the dirt playfully leaps up from under my foot, walking down the trail towards the shore.
Bees hurrying around thier schedule of picking flowers to match-make; so carefree and lazy in the beating heat of the noon light.
Birds of all colours, shapes and sizes, twisting and turning against that blissful patch of Heaven like a couple of Cupid angels playing some game of tag.
The warmed, still air embodies the sense of the day helping you realise that everything is fine. Everything is new. Everything appreciates and everything knows.

That great circle of life is indeed at anew. The fresh respect for all that you sense still lingers in the air. In your mind, captivating your senses, is the world as it should be seen. The clean and real. The open and free. Something that should be cherished by all. Appreciated and marvelled with some undenyable envy that knowing though you are human, never could you become harmonic with this setting. Never could you try to be accepted back into a wild domain. The most we can do is marvell at it's beauty. Let it consume you and know it will do you good.

Plus the dogs can s**t anywhere they want to.. I hate cleaning it up 'cause if like the bag breaks or tears, your hands are fucked until you get back.
Otherwise, yeah, it's pretty fun.

What a beautiful piece of writing, Gray. Just a shame it's not a true representation of UK spring weather. Sad

How I wish it was....

We've had something like one day of sun this week here in Bristol. The other days, it's rained. A lot.
