Two doves. They were before the bat, actually. Sixx's story had the basic idea, just a bit skewed.

No one at the record company was very excited to have signed him, so Sharon arranged a meeting between him and all the top executives, so they could meet him and not be basing their opinions on all the media stories. As a sign of peace, she had him put two doves in his pockets and told him to throw them up in the air at the meeting. After she put on Crazy Train to give the execs a taste of the album, a very drunk Ozzy sat on a woman's knee (Head of something or other, advertising, something like that), pulled out one of the doves, and bit its head off. Threw the body on the table.

They kicked him out, and as they were being led out of the building, he did the other one and threw it at the receptionist.

The less well known but rather worse story, since he purposefully did it. The bat was an accident. Thought it was fake.

It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
