Well one person once said that music is the greatest form. Even though Im a visual/2D artist I have to agree as music has a way of touching the soul in ways no other form can. Yes any form of art can have some meaningfulness to it, but I heard that scientists did a study on music and put plants by two different types of music. One was soft mellow music while the other was hard rocky music. The plant that had the soft music did well while the other plant with the hard music did poorly. Believe it or not but plants can feel the music and responded to it. Cows in barns can produce milk better when hearing soft mellow music.

Well if you agree with me on the music, then great but if there is another form of art that you feel is the greatest form then please respond and vote.

Ps: I know acting has both visual and sound but Im mainly focusing on the pure acting ability.

EDIT: my pole messed up for some reason and can't fix it... im just going to list them here

Drawing/Painting/digital/ (AKA visual/2D)

MusicDance/belay

Acting (AKA like in plays)

Writing/Story telling

PhotographySculpturing

(AKA visual/3D)Other

(just write what you think)

but seriously, what difference does it make? pencil? color? still, you gotta rememeber it's more complicated to use color then just black and white. in black in white you only got shades to worry about, while in color you got shades AND hues to make ;)

To me real art is something you create using drawing with your imagination. for example, in my mind still-lifes arn't really considered true 'art' because it was copied...but if one could manage to create a realistic drawing through thier imagination and minds...now thats impressive. so in all, it's the imagination and originality that makes something art. It could be anything-sculpture, cartoons, landscapes..etc. of course, thats my opinion.

once, I started getting on the internet a lot, I started going to oekaki boards, & just recently I got photoshop cs. so, to make a long story short. I'm big on digital art now. everytime I make a mistake in colored pencil, I want to press and undo button. XD

I've been pretty intrested with pixel art over the past few months. As for the greatest form of art, I'd have to say oil paining. It's the medium of the masters. Just look at how many masterpieces have been produced using oils.
