Zelda Sucks

The Legend of Zelda games series is the most overrated game series ever. The plot is essentially the same with little or no diversion. Just throw in a different dungeon background and a few new items, and you can sell the same old re-hashed garbage for 20 years. Link, as a character, is just pathetic. Maybe those white little tights and pointy cap were cool back in 1988, and I know you have the whole "alternate lifestyle" crowd to appeal to, but the look is outdate and just plain silly. That and he appears to be a 12-year-old boy wearing eyeliner in half the pictures I've seen of him. C'mon people, Zelda is a corny, lacking game that lost it's originality years ago. Just let the series die with a little dignity instead of dragging it out over decades with little or no new creativity or even fun to offer. Maybe then you can start making good games like Halo. Until then, let the crapfest march on.

Zelda, well sometimes overrated, i still have a passion for playing the games for the battle system and to see what other crazeh things Link get's into. I dunno, i can't put my finger on it yet, but i do some what agree with you.

XD but its not uber crappy. It's-- like a classic?

HAHAHAHAHAA!!!! Laughing

That's funny, considering that virtually EVERY major title is made for XBox now. People that say that XBox is "just hanging in there by the strings of one game" (usually Halo 2 Live) need to either wake up or stop kidding themselves.

But really, before people start flaming me to a crispy critter here, I did this as a dare. I love the Zelda game series. I think I have played through Link's Awakening alone about 10 times. It is a great game series, Link is a badass character, and Zelda will be making great games for years to come. This was great though, loved the people's reactions. ^_^

Damn, I was gonna say that.

Anyways, Zelda ocarina of time was a good game, really... at its time it was such a good game like one of the best games on N64 I enjoyed the gameplay and the music <3...wind waker was good but a bit boring :[

But yea Zelda sucks in Super smash bros., she's cheap. Razz

Zelda is cool. The storyline is great, the character design(not Link, he's a fruit.) gameplay, ect.
But if there were something I didn't like about it.....besides the hero being a fruit.....It would be the whole pricess being captured thing, or princess falling in an endless sleep thing they've done. Too....predictable, and mainstream. Zelda is too girly. They should've made her some tough warrior chick or something. But I guess the Shiek thing covers that.
My point: The princess idea is too mainstream.
I find that quite annoying.

But either way I love the game and I shall continue playing it till I grow sick of it and I can no longer see from staring at the TV for hours on end........*goes on and on*

I think it's amusing how many serious responses this got despite the fact that it was a prank. XD Will wins! =D

I've played as many Zelda games as I could get my hands on (which isn't many, considering the latest Nintendo console I own is the SNES... which still pwns, btw. XD) and I love them. The sprites are cute. :3

Zelda is really good, the first one I played was Link's awakening, course it was in Chinese, and I was only 5, so I didn't get most of it, enough to get the storyline though...

Link's Awakening is my favorite so far. You just can't beat that old school bird's-eye-of-view gameplay with some friggin' HARD puzzles. I still play it and I have found everything except that one damned heart container that shall forever elude me. ( I remember way back when when they remade it for gameboy color. I'm sure that is the one most have played. The new dungeon was pretty cool, but the photo thing was just annoying.)

I really like Link's Awakening, as well as the one for SNES (which I conveniently forgot the name of). The photo thing drove me nuts. I'd finish the game and have around... 2 pictures in my gallery. XD

Mission: finish game without dying a single time.
