...That sounds dirty.
Yeah, long as it's relatively cheap, I'll go pretty much anywhere. Even an anime convention. But I reserve the right to point and laugh.
Now if people wanted to have a get together and catch the second leg of the Crue tour or something, then we'd be talkin'... _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
But I reserve the right to point and laugh.
Given some of the cosplay...and crossplay, that is to be expected.

I know. Doesn't particularly lend itself to a "get together" anyway.
...I'll be too distracted to bother being social.

Yeeeeeah... But I'm not even talking just about them. Any of it. The anime itself. "Hey, let's look at this booth" "Ah ha ha ha...he's a boy with dog ears, ha ha ha...." I don't think I'd be very good company after about ten minutes. My sarcasm kinda goes into overdrive. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

And then there are some you just want to avoid in general. >_o Obesity + skimpy costume (I'm thinking specifically of FFX-2, btw) = NO. =_=
Well, nah. As long as you're not annoying or anything. Most people I know can handle sarcasm because we dish it out all the time. Not very tolerant of whiny people, though.
But you shouldn't go to something you wouldn't be interested in. ^.^;

I'd be interested in meeting the people. Anime is just an unfortunate side effect that can be dealt with. Went to prom for the same reason. And a whole lot of movies I knew would suck.
Long as it doesn't cost much, what it is doesn't matter.
Whether or not I'm annoying depends on who you ask. I leave before it ever gets to a whining level. Beauty of the bus, not waiting on a ride. If I left it up to people meeting me at something I'd be interested in...there'd be all of one person. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C.
