Do you mean it doesn't work as in it doesn't save the screenshot to your clipboard or.. the.. key has a load of crumbs under it? :huh:

Print screen should do it, then just click paste on some program like MS Paint.

When you hit the Print Screen button? Nothing does. It won't give you an indication that the screen is copied, but it is. Then just paste it on clipboard.
