Nice shading, but there's a mysterious dark blob where no part of Bakura is which makes the shading look a tad messy. The pointers on the Millennium Ring are a tad screwy...

Wow. I absolutely love what you did with the markers; most art that I see don't use the markers to their full potential (I see copic markers used like regular markers all the time, and it kills me >_<). The hands (especially the one holding the bomb) could be definened a little better, but everything looks more-or-less in proportion. ^_^ 4/5, Good job. =D
Since I don't have any new art scanned, I'll just have to recycle some of my old art. Sorry 'bout that, but I can't do anything about it. >_< http://www.fanart-central.net/pictures.php?pid=146529 _________________

For what it's worth, I don't have any new material done yet either. I give yours a nice 3 of 5 -- great technique, though full color would be nicer to see.
So, then... I'll present this one:

Wow, very nice. Great anatomy. I like the expression, too. Good shading on the crystals. However, you don't really have a light source, as in the belly is just as dark as the side. 8.5/10

ok my critque of you...your drawing has good potential but, its grainy, which just means scan at a higher dpi, it also has poor line quality i've been saying that alot across the forum but it really makes or breaks a drawing. But i love how its very bright and cheerful probably shows you personality very well just work on the fundamentals.

I likes the originality in his design. Would love to see a colored version. But, yeah, why didn't you ink his boots? Oh, and just because you might ask anyways, I use Staedtler pigment liner pens.

EDIT: Oh, by the way Richard, Annas's drawing is an "oekaki", a digital from of drawing not unlike MS Paint (I'm sorry, I know that is a bad comparison, but its the closest thing). So yeah, no scanners involved here. ^_^ _________________

It's just my opinion. It's because I don't like, plus I don't know much about cartoon style drawings, so it probably deserves better. ^^;

oh alm down, this is a place to comment and critique so just do that. 7/10. The colorings nice but they seemed too bunched up. you might want to work on proportions a bit
See, did that kill ya?

This like, my only colored pic and it sucks >< I need work on proportions, any advice?

I'll give it a 2.5/5. Its cute and all, but it is out of proportion...I suck at those...So sorry I don't have advice for you but practice...I bet you hear that from from everyone ...or try a different style that you feel comfortable with and don't be scared to use "daring" style and color. That advice sucked but yeah...Righto I'll be quiet now.

EDIT: Sorry! I was typing while the previous post was posted, so mine is in response to Rita's. I'll crit yours, too, hold on a sec. :o
Sarah: Wow! Psychedelic. Like an acid trip. It's really cool, and I like the originality of it. I'm not really a fan of pastel colours (or abstract, for that matter), but I thrink you did a decent job of arranging them. Could be inked, though. Colour almost always looks better on ink. 3.5/5
Rita: Mm, the colours are nice and bright. I like that.
Yeah, your proportions could use a bit of work. The hands are really small; a hand will roughly cover half of the person's face. Her head needs to have more of a defined shape, rather than the oval-circlish one she has now, and the hair could be a bit thicker. 3/5
I find that if I'm drawing wings that are "on fire" per se, it usually looks nicer if the wings look like normal ones, and the bottom are the flames (yeah, they'd be upside-down somtimes... but it works, I guess. :x).
Hope that helps a litte. :)
As for my piece... Well, it's not anything extraordinary, so I doubt the next person would give it a high rating. =P Oh well, I had fun with it.
Dooodlez.
See if you can find...
- 6 "BOOM"s (and no, that "WHOOT" does not count. I've had 5+ people try to pass it off as BOOM. ) ...There were actually 8 to begin with, but my scanner shaved them off. You can probably see the stuff that wasn't chopped off. ^^;
- An actual Bananamobile (there's actually a story behind this... two, if you count the fact that I actually drew one)
- wind
- A barbeque
- C'thulhu

Since it's not yours, and I don't feel like being a complete dick, Im just going to leave it alone.
About youre "dot". It could be art, but that really depends on both your execution of the art work and what you wanted to express or convey. From what I can tell, this is entirely digital. Probably took you about two seconds from start to finish? This simplicity in its presentation and symmetry in its design would suggest an artistic piece, but the very fact that you really did not create this (the computer did) leaves me with no choice other than to say "no, this is not art". Sorry, but I this really can't be viewed as a serious artistic piece.
Rita: just because you are not used to a particular style, does not mean you can automatically write it off. I, personally, am not that fond of the anime style. However, I try to rate and critique other peoples anime works on their skill and presentation, no whether I personally "like" it or not. Just something for you to think about.
Ok, all that being said, I know I have posted this one at some point in the past but it is nice to get another point of view.
