You'll need that time and more. The competition for game design right now is unbelievable. There's people who have been designing for 30 years that are still trying to get their ideas picked up. If you're interested in game design, browse the http://www.eatpoo.com forums. There's several professional designers there who work in various aspects of videogames and will post their finished and in-progress work. It's a pretty good measure of what industry standard is right now. Smile

I guess I've got to get a lot better at art in order to make a good game. ^_^ well, this may be off topic, but I've just gotta ask: rita, how'd you get in contact with square enix? and also what program(s) are you using to make a video game? okay, now as for current projects, I'm just doing another character design with photoshop cs. yeah, the mouth's a little messed up, but I usually fix the little screw-ups after I scan it, & it should look a lot better once I color the lips. Very Happy

I am currently working on animating a fight scene between my characters Yuriah and Auratus...

My sister kept telling me that they should suddenly fall in love in the heat of battle...

I might color it when I am done, but I am not sure.

I got in contact with Square Enix through my friend, she works there. Also, designing is a whole nother thing. I had to take dozen's of different courses and learn the lots computer programs. Animation and graphics, configuration, coding, voice stimulations, lots of stuff. I think I've got most of it down. I've designed my own video game, but it isn't of high quality. Still, I'm hoping the IDEA will get accepted.

right now I'm working on this picy. lots of stuff look unproportional, but..bah, that could easily be changed.

I like the idea you have going in this latest picture Azzy. kind of sensual in a evil kinda way. the one you posted earlier was done well, very disturbing, but done well. this is not the finnished picture Girl Power 3 Ive posted here, Im still finnishing a background of a tree lined lake. instead this is for promotional efforts being sent to syndicates to publish the comic as a daily. Ive renewed the Angels logo too for 2005. on my web site Im also going to use the heads of these pics for my "fourheads" design at the top, and Ive made five new wallpapers for 2005 (going to pull all the old ones on my site and some I have on DA) when I post them. Im making all new top banners for my site based on the new logo too.

I recently put up a contest (here on FAC), and some requests on other message boards for someone to color a specific character from the Babes & Blades series, and finally, someone (from another BBS) took up my request.

This is a prototype sample from ROHML of Greattoys.Net. He says it should be done, effects, shading, background and all, by next week.

nice work on the contour of the vest Audrey, and the alley in Meredy's wip is great. Ive put it up to quite a few sites to choose a new set of eyes for my Angels. something with a little less lash than I thought up in 2002. I drew 5 sets of new eyes and put the option of eyes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s pics, also realistic eyes. most picked my comic eye "E" for the new Angels eyes. Im glad, that was the ones I was hoping for. itll take some time getting used to a new way of drawing their eyes now, also have to redo comics and art, two episodes, and it was a bitch redoing the inking and painting of Girl Power 3. this is the heads of all four girls from GP3:

the eyes have noticably less lash, but also have cut down eyes to accomodate slight upper lids. coloring has changed too. the area below the eyebrow to the eye used to be colored with mascara, now only the small upper lid is, and the eye lid itself when the eyes are closed as in the case of Iri's right eye here.

latest pencil Ive been working on. this is for a British anime site. Bittany May is the official anime mascot of Britain and ToniBo is the all American girl. I did these two as seperate pics and put them together digitally. Ill draw them holding hands digitally and compleate the boardwalk and shore. I should have it inked by this weekend.
