I started this topic (at least I think I did) because I have just recently noticed how many secrets rock bands tend to have. And I have been very eager to know more except the most common secret He/she was on drugs because if you've liked rocknroll for a long time you would realize that most rock bands were either on, off, currently doing, or quit drugs.
The kind I am talking about is kinda like when you play a certain song backwards (backmasking) and you find a secret message or the lead singer had an intruiging backround.

My dad played a Pink Floyd record backward and found a contest message. He got a tee shirt out of the whole deal. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Everyone knows that Freddy was gay. It was painfully obvious hon. Just like the frontman of Judas Priest after he actually came out. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Yeah. And he played it with his teeth at Woodstock when playing the Star Spangled Banner. ^_^ Sorry dude. You'll think of something soon.
Did you know that Slash once was handcuffed to a hotel bed and a fire department had to saw him out of it because the woman he was with the night before took it with her. Slash was very hush-hush about what had happened and to this day people wonder how Slash was able to dial the phone for help when both of his hands were clearly handcuffed. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

You can do that with a lot of albums from many different bands--it just all depends on how far your imagination can stretch or how much acid you may have taken.. _________________ "I've got a sticky Darodo!"

Did you know that Jimi Hendrix only ever had one top forty hit? Forget what it was... probably Purple Haze. _________________ |

Jimi's only hit was All Along the Watchtower. Not even his own song. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I don't know much about Styx at all. Never liked them.
I would contribute to this, but I have a hard time coming up with "secrets" that aren't either common knowledge (as far as I'm concerned) or are rather uninteresting to the people here.
I dunno, when I think of a "secret", I think of things that aren't in any biographies or interviews and really are things not everyone knows. And in that area, of what I would be willing to publically share, most are just who's a tramp on the road, what they're into, and who's a huge asshole.
C.C. DeVille (Poison) was dragged out of the Cat Club on his stomach last year after starting a fight. He was visibly impaired by multiple substances. Earlier he had gotten into a fight with his girlfriend, shoved her, and she left to the Rainbow (where she may or may not have been doing blow). He repeatedly called her before finding his way home. Other sources around that time say he spent some time with Chyna (the wrestling chick) at his house.
Secret enough for ya? Common knowledge, but not around here, I guess. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Def Leppard - They had a naked club of girls under the stage. Extremely well known, especially in the last year or two on VH1, but I still find it funny. Let's see, other than that, there are various professionally done nude photos of the band. Rick Allen back when he had both arms. There's also a picture of Steve and Phil kissing. Sav's first palsy attack was around '94 when his father died.
Meh. Never paid much attention to Def Lep, but there's something. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I heard about that. Didn't they have special backstage passes for that? I remember hearing about passes that has smilies giving bl*w jobs.
This is probably well known too but I might as well post something:
Slash once had to have a local fire dept. saw him out of a bed he was handcuffed to. The woman he was with the night before took the key with her and left him in the bed helpless. He was very hush-hush about it with the press. To this day no one knows how he was able to dial the phone for help. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

Yeah, but they were just general passes for women. Taking your top off was how you got under the stage.
