Now before I waste fifteen minutes of my life making a more detailed "Beauty Tips for Guys" post, I need to know now; are any of you planning on going for the Boy George look anytime soon? Are any of you at least curious to see how you can get the Boy George look? :huh:

Anyway...beauty tips. Read it all for the full education because I know some of you skim read...Tom. <_<

Sixx's Beauty Tip #1: Guys, when it comes to makeup, you are allowed to break the "less is more" rule. You have the right no the privilage to wear makeup as thick as possible and still be accepted into society not as a tramp. For your hazel eyes Gray...I suggest black eyeliner. Very thick too with gray eyeshadow. Trust me, it would look nice. Blue eyes should always go with light gray or bluish gray and green eyes can go with the natural lipgloss shine on the eyes look.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #2: Tight pants are in for transvestites and will never go out of style. How tight is tight? When your balls are screaming for sanctuary outside of your pants.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #3: Long hair does not grow on all guys. I know this, I've experimented on my bro and he is one of those people. My suggestion? If you are one of these people then don't let it hang over your eyes. It will just look very dirty. Keep it long but use a decent amount of hair gel to spike it. And on the bright side, with spikey hair you have all different kinds of highlighting options for your tips. I've found that blonds tips on black hair to be very effective. Also red tips on brunette hair is very sexy too.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #4: Guys don't tend to have the same full lips women do so my advice would be to overcompensate with the lipstick. Whore's red is always the best choice for this and add it on really thick. That way people think you have women lips but really you just use too much makeup. But you won't tell anyone.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #5: Suck it up when putting on mascarra. I cannot stress this enough. Train your eyes to not blink so that way you won't get it in your eye but you seriously can't whine and bitch about how hard it is to put it in. Whining and bitching is not sexy on a guy especially when that guy is putting on makeup on the same time. I'm sorry but us women just don't have that kind of sympathy for you guys.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #6: Be secure about youself and your masculinity. That is the sexiest feature of all.

Per Gray's request:

Simple makeup for men. Disclaimer: if you're a man who's prone to makeup, you're probably already doing it. If you're not, these mean nothing to you. This is purely for my amusement and Gray's proposed modeling offer that is a possibility.

~ Keep it subtle, especially if you want it to be a "style" and not a conversation piece.

~ Eyeliner is most basic. Outline, smudge, done. Keep it right by the lashes and not pulled out in the cat-eye shape.

~ Mascara should be the same color as your hair. Black for dark hair, brown for brunettes, etc.

~ Anything on the lips should be remotely natural or understated. Slight sheen, or slight tint of color.

Now if Gray does model that, my life will be complete.

(none of this works unless it fits the person. Either extremely well groomed or the more "alternative" look)

If you want white teeth don't eat to much chocolate or drink to much coffee or anything else that has caffiene in it. I'm pretty sure that is what stains most teeth. Unless you have stain remover tooth past, it's nice to have white teeth trust me.

ps: if you have braces remember this: I have witnessed about five times (inlcuding on myself) that is you had braces you have white teeth when you get them off be sure to take care of them after that too though.

If you are keeping something that is likely to explode in your lap then at least tie your hair back at far away from the object as possible. You will so thankful that you did. *Personal note* An electric heater just exploded in my lap a minute ago and all I can think of now is how I'm so glad that I had my hair tied back so none of the sparks got into my hair and set my head on fire. :blink:

On topic: I discovered a new beauty tip today.


Sixx's Beauty Tip #14: If you find that your hair is full of fly-aways that you just can't control and you are already in school with nothing but your own two hands then listen up because this will help you a lot.

1. Go to the bathroom and find an empty sink with a mirror.
2. Turn on the sink and run your hand through it for a second or when its a little damp (but not soaking wet.)
3. Rub your head where the flyaways are. The wettness of your hand will hold down the flyaways like a cheap hairgel.
4. The downside is that the water will make your hair look greasy. To avoid that, you'll need a hand dryer. Turn on the hairdryer and keep your head under the hair dryer, brushing your hair with your fingers so it doesn't get too out of control.
5. Go back to the mirror and brush your hair with your fingers until your hair is back in control. If this is done right, then the flyaways will be gone and your hair will look spectacular.


Based on personal experiences and it really does help for the desperate.

always where clean cloths cus if your cloths are dirty it will make you dirty and smelly even if you just took a shower!

DO NOT put on to much make up! to me the whole point of make up is to bring out your natural beuty not cover it up with foundation and cosmetics! make up is a good thing but only if you use it right!

I sadly was not born to just say f*ck it. Hair stylist familes are obessive compulsive about hair and its now a borderline phobia for me. I could care less about my makeup though. I hear the racoon look is very popular in Europe. ;)

That actually reminded me of some hygene habits of my friend's older brother. He really does recommend these tips so I figure I would post them.

Bro Tip #1: If you are a student at a huge college like UConn then you can wear the same clothes everyday and no one would notice at all except for your roommate (but he doesn't matter.)

Bro Tip #2: Febreeze works miracles. For example, you can spray a used pair of underwear with Febreeze and the underwear is suddenly wearable for one extra day. One can of Febreeze will allow you to wear the same underwear for a month.

Bro Tip #3: Socks are dirty and disgusting. Therefore, you should change your socks at least five times a day and throw out your used socks. Go sock shopping every week and buy 32 socks to keep in stock constantly.

Bro Tip #4: Jello is better than hair gel. You can spike your hair with jello and your hair will stay in the same shape for at least a week. Do not shower durring this week.

When you go to the beach, ALWAYS put your hair in a ponytail or else you will get sand and seaweed and all kinds of gross stuff in it.
