I was just thinking, I don't know if it's possible or not, but maybe FAC could have a convention. People could pay a set price for a dinner or somehing, and then meet eachother at a certain location. What do you people think? |

Judging by my 'where are you from' thread, it would be pretty difficult to get us all in one place, lol. |

Great idea, except for the fact the average age of site users is 11. It's generally really hard to do a convention unless most of the people are legal age. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Lasher and I always talk about this O.o thing is, we can't exactly meet when most of us are younger, like Fallen said. I think some of us should meet in a couple of years when we're all older. Maybe at a rock concert :X That'd be fun. |

Yes, Lasher is all ready has meeting plans in the works.
I can see christopher because we're both adults and thus will have no problems with parents and getting places as some people woud.
Then in a year i'll be able to plan something to visit Li or have him visit me and see my closet cause he will graduate next year, same as i .
Then in two years i'm thinking of the possibility of having a big group meet up somewhere so fallen and kate can get in. Hell, if i could i'd go to Carter too! ^_^ And raymei and such, lol. |

I'll be legal in one year, thank you very much. A graduate in one year n' 2 months. So nyah. I'm with Li, not Kate.
God, I may look 12, but I ain't no fuckin' sophomore. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

It would be fun, but all of you do prove a point in the age factor. Maybe someday. |

Stupid sophomore. Nah, only reason I say that is the freshman and sophomore classes at my school are...let's just say they're slightly above very sexually active monkies. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

hey a convention would be awesome! but yea there would be some problems, naturally. the age thing is one, but i think the distance is the biggest problem. we're from many different states plus canada, so most people would have to fly or take a train or something... i say NY since i know at least me and lasher are near there, plus it's not that far from canada... then again i guess it depends what part of canada you're from... ok nevermind i have no idea where we could meet.
yea!! damn sophomores! they should die! (*sigh*... i hate myself...) _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |

Only the freshmen here. Buncha stupid skanky assholes.
And hey now, Cali is better! The weather's nicer, and there's more to do. Were everyone completely legal, I could take you all to the Roxy. Woohoo. And let's face it, meeting midwest would be pointless. Sit around and stare at the dirt. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Yeah, i don't ever really want to live on the west coast, or go to much, but if i could go and meet Li and Fallen, i'd push my pride aside and take a flight on over. Haha, Fallen, can you and me share a hotel room? I doubt Li would be able to put us up with his family and all, not sure i'd want to really <_< lol
And i'd just loveeee to go to the roxy someday, i'd be so out of place there the way i dress. They'd probably think i wasn't a rocker girl. But hey, i worship Rock, it is MY god and my first true love! do the good rock stars still hang around there though? Like they did in the 80's and all that s**t? Ah, the good old days. |

Depends on who you consider the "good" rock stars. Metal Skool (formerly Metal Shop up until recently) moved from the Viper Room down the street to the Roxy. Actually, tonight is their first show there. They rock. It's not like the Rainbow used to be or anything, but people still hang out. You'll find Taime Downe and people running around. And depending on if there's any event going on, you never know who you'll find.
West coast is the best for rock, and you know it. There's a reason the Sunset club scene is famous. Back East is dirty and crowded. Come smoke a joint and relax with us. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

besides the age factor yes the distances and responcibilities of being an adult bites too. I like the New York idea. Im sorry but the city that never sleeps is the best local...well unless we get hit by maniacs in 747s again _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. If it was planned way in advance, maybe people would be able to make it. But it would take a lot of work. And what's the Roxy? |

In my city, the Roxy is a nightclub that seems to spend all their money on endless versions of radio commercials. <_< _________________ 222.
