For the past 2 Christmases Ive got some books called Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. Its full of oddball facts and topics. Some humourous and eye opening information. Its quite the little book of interest. Comes in several volumes, sizes, topics, such as history or kids versions others are just random information on almost anything.
Let me give you a few interesting examples of what you can find.
-All the past presidents of USA that were voted in a year ending in 0 died while in office.
-You can draw 35 miles worth of line with an average pencil.
-In the year of 1977 a 13 year old boy found a tooth growing on his left foot
-Scalping was invented by Europeans hundreds of years ago, not by Indians. The Indians caught onto their methods later on.

I started a topic like this about a year ago, but it seems that no one ever read the books. I fricken' love the Bathroom Readers! I get my daily requirement of trivial information from those things. I've have two of them that I've already read in their entirety at least 5 times each, though not in order. I like to skip between the articles.
My favorite sections are probably the court transcripts, odd news paper headlines, mistranslated foreign movie titles, rhetorical questions, government consperacies, ect... _________________ |

I've read parts of it, and thanks to that book I now know turtle is the other white meat. _________________ My candle burns at both ends;

If you didn't already have a custom title, that'd be a good one! _________________ |
