Phantom Of The Opera

hay all

i don't kno about you guys but i love the phantom of the opera.......its totally cool.....the singing the acting.........everything.......i know that people out there hate musicals and plays but this is the movie and well i just want opionons from other people who appriciated the movie........or those who totally loathed it.

Yeah, I loved the film. Miranda Richardson as Mme Girey was particularly good, but really the whole cast was great. There were a few moments that I thought the lip-synching was slightly off, but most of the singing was marvellous.

The scenery was absolutely magnificent, it captured the opera feel so well. I liked the humerous touches, although the finale was somewhat lacking.

Overall though, a great film.

me and kari went to see it a while back , i loved it ^_^ ..only downside was someone burst out crying halofway through , but thats besides the point . the acting and the singing was great, i normally hate musicals and such , but i would probably go back and see it again if i had the chance ^_^

great i especially like the singing i did not know that the phantom of the opera was played by the guy from the movie "time line" he was the scotish dude who lost his ear.......i had no idea that some actors can sing like that......that note he held at the end of the song of music of the night was really long i can't hold the note that long...i'm a tenor and can sing all those note even the high ones but i can't hold them that long.......

The movie was good, I didn't like how they casted Emmy Rossum, seeing how she has an okay voice, but it isn't that great. I liked how Gerard Butler portrayed his role as the phantom, alot. The guy who played Raoul was good as well, although I prefer the stage show to the movie, it was still good, I loved it.
