I completely forgot about this topic. O.o;; is it just me or does the artists of the motnh get less and less impressive with each month.

Well I still like looking at them, and think the quality of the Artist of the Month's work is always good even if their style isn't to my taste.

And while I'm here, I'd like to nominate Bruth.

what does it take to become an artist of the month? MOst of them have tons of art up here. And some of them arn't even all that great. ((sorry my opinion)

good question. what would be the qualifications for being artist of the month, besides having several pics up?

Showing quality of art, dedication, multi-media possibly, time spent, good description of piece, origionality, inspiring qualities and care should all come into consideration whilst choosing an artist.

Look kid I'm not saying your stuff is bad. Not at all. I'm just saying that it isn't ready for artist of the month yet. That is nothing to be insulted by. To be artist of the month you really have to be great, and show your talents in a variety of mediums. No need to cry.

Just out of curiosity, would it be pretty much impossible for someone whose work is almost entirely R/NC-17 to ever be the artist of the month?

Personally, I don't think so. If people can't be mature, to heck with them. If it's good quality work and there's a lot of effort put into it, heck yeah. ^^ At least, I strongly agree to this.

I agree. not all artwork rated R/NC-17 is crude at all. it can be really great stuff (like artistic nudes and such), & if some kid can't take the fact that someone might be naked in the pic, then well, they don't have to look at it.^^

Umm I thought that all the people that happens to get picked then puts their names in a hat and the one that comes up gets it. Is that true?

Yeah i believe you should be mature of that fact..i mean if the artist is good regardless of the pictures rating...
