My mother is about to have surgery on her stomach tomorrow and she'll be at the hospital for about a week. So if you please be so kind is to say a little prayer for a safe recovery Sad

..Yeah. My mum had operation on her throat once. Her Adam's apple thing was too far out and was bad for business so Mac Daddy G Holla G punched her in the throat and needed stitches... She still has a scar and one gold tooth.

and what kind of logic is that ?!? its like having faith in my mother to re-pay that 20 she borrowed..i know full well she wont so what the point in having "faith"? from my experience faith in god is something people cling onto when they have nothing else ..they delude themselves into beleiveing there is something else out there wich will save them and sort out all there problems . . . . .

i do that alot...but its just out of habit....think about it , if there was a god and he supposedly "loved each and every on of us" ..why the f**k have all these disasters been happening ?!? .from my point of view there is no god , there is no nothing were out on our own and there no one and nothing to protect us . . . . .

It's not like that one bit. The kid's mother is going under the knife for God's sake. It's not about getting your tampons in time or maybe running out of mascara. When you really feel alone and feel like nothing can help you, it's so much better for your own peace of mind to believe in something better so you can get through that difficult time. Even if you truly believe it, or even if you only need that extra bit of encouragement to hang on and face the problems instead of feeling solitary and facing something that big alone. You can't deny that at one point or another you've prayed or asked for something. Heck, it doesn't even have to be a God as everyone else sees them.. Just something or someone that you care for and admire.
There are other powers to believe in rather than one big guy sittin' on a cloud Lazyboy™ stroking his beard.
The point of this (and something you can watch Dogma for) is for you to not give yourself to a God if you don't wish, but as long as you have faith that the person will come through.

Try looking at the bigger picture and please don't insult other's religions/creeds.
