This better fly Smile Since there has been some whoring up in other threads with hockey talk... why not start a topic just for hockey!

So here we go. The team I cheer for didn't make it. Yes the Edmonton Oilers. But we will not get into that. As of now I am very pleased that the Vancouver Canucks were knocked outta the playoffs by Calgary... no I don't like Calgary... but I hate the f*ckn canucks and all vancouver fans Smile Did anyone watch game 7? A Vancouver "fan" threw their sweater on the ice to try and stop the puck from going into the empty net.... *shakes head* stupid canuck fans. Now they can go back to what is most important to them.. beer and weed... nope not soap.. they don't wash.. anyway.

I don't really care who makes it now. I'll be watchn the Avs though. They can beat the Sharks good. Detroit can beat Calgary. The Canadians can beat Tampa Bay.

Two more periods to go in the Ottawa vs Toronto game... 3-0 for the leafs... WTF?

what are your thoughts on the playoffs.. or anything to do with the nhl and teams that didn't make the cut Smile

As long as the habs continue playing well I'll be happy. In a perfect world I'd like to see the habs beat the Lightning while the Leafs beat the Flyers and then have a Leafs vs Habs Eastern Conference final where the beloved habs beat the turd outta them!!

ewww Jessica youve just climbed to the top of my hockey sh*t list. since my boys team (Flyers) and my team (Stars-dont start with me LC) are out, I have to go with an old arch enemy (the octopus throwin') Detriot Red Wings! still have the muscle to make it all the way (even though I hate them).

oh by the way the real Colorado team moved to my home state of New Jersey years ago (Devils), so piss on the Rockies...thats probebly how they get thier beer anywho.

and on the other thread someone mentioned she felt like she was in Canada because of all the Hockey talk. almost every NHL team resides in the states and the teams have recruited from every known hockey playing country in the world since the fall of the wall (even had a great many defectors before that), so Id say its very much an American sport. since all our forefathers came from everywhere else in the world in the last 500 years!

Go (bastards) Red Wings!

Something about Canadians scares me. Sorry... but when I played a hockey tournament in Canada, the refs were all for the Canadian teams. That isn't fair <_<

You lose so you blame the refs. Are you sure you are not from Vancouver?
