Ever clean melted plastic in a microwave? Thats one lesson I'll never forget. The smell alone is enough to make you vomit.

I once messed up baking cookies. My friend and I were trying to make butter cookies but we had no butter so we used Crisco as a substitue. We ended up with grease cookies. Sad

I generally make no sense...

Anyway, I am still trying to dig out my cheesecake recipe. As far as I remember, you needed

Digestive Biscuits
Cream Cheese
Margarine
"Dream Topping"

and a few other items I can't remember...

Are you making them in a pan? Because I can't make them in a pan but I have no problem making them on a flat griddle. Smile

Y'know, it never occurred to me that it coulda been the pan that was messing my pancakes up. >< Maybe I should try using a flat griddle next time or something...

I'm a good cook. I can make pretty much anything unless it's really complicated. I mean, it's not that hard to just put something together and then throw it on the stove or in the oven.
I prefer to bake though. Cookies, cakes, brownies (NOT the magic ones) are the best. Once me and my friend were making double-chocolate cookies and the recipe was supposed to make 6 dozen but it only made 4 dozen because of all the batter we ate...

i bake from scratch all the time. Never used a mix. I just don't see the point.

You shouldn't eat the cake mixture. If anything's nice, it's choccy butter icing!

yeah but have you guys ever put tin foil in the microwave without knowing it and see it popl like crazy. fun.

I can't bake worth a darn and that is true maybe i have to do pancakes on a flat grill to get them right.

what about the grill outside does anybody know any good maranaides. i don't all i know is to get the meat slap it on the grill like a hog and sprinkle spices on it as it cooks and pour beer on it. (tip from my uncle gilbert the butcher)

At my school, people put a lot of weird things in the microwave. A sneaker, a CD... once someone put in a pack of Gushers and it exploded. Laughing Good times, good times.

But the goo is so horrible to clean up and it tastes all funky without the fire taste in it.

Ah microwave your the student's best friend, you warm our food so we can eat whatever we put in you. Whether it be a piece of meat, salad, or gerbil. OPEN WIDE........ Laughing

If using a toaster counts as cooking, then yeah. I'm a damn good cook. Otherwise, I hope you like a chippy.
