Honestly, I don't post work here for critique. I post here because it has a large userbase and I'm trying to get my stuff seen. Comments like that are nice to read and let me know that someone came by and looked at my pics, so I have no complaints.

I don't remember what my last one was. I think it might have been one on my Avril Lavigne (Under My Skin cover) pic saying that it doesn't look like her. Usually I'm open to critique but I just don't agre with that statement. Oh well, it doesn't matter that much to me anyways.

The most recent comment I got made me feel pretty happy. I usually (like everyone else) get those "so cool!" comments. So I was glad to get a little more than that. (Though I wish that I'd actually get some critiques once in a while )

That kind of comment, while more than just your average "oh so cool!" type comment, is still just a bunch of swooning to me, so I don't afford it any higher regard than the "oh so cool!" type comments -- it gets deleted eventually, when somebody else can leave a real comment.

To me, a "real" comment is basically anything that talks about the picture in an objective way. Not necessarily a full critique, but they've got to make a statement that doesn't depend on their opinion -- or mine. So a comment like "your furries are awesome, it looks like real fur!" is a bit more valuable than "your style is awesome!" .
