seriously rap is wasted. rap promotes violence, murder, rape, and direspect to everyone. all those rappers end up in jail at some point, or dead. and wtf is with the rapper style. its such ugly clothing, and yall walk like monkies that have a piece of turd hanging out ur ass.
its not even cool.
some people look cool in it tho, as long as they dont start talkn like john cena 24/7, then its ok i guess. wtf is with that dialogue anyways?! why lower ur intelligence to follow a group of "gangsta" hypocrites. seriously, they hang with their herd, but seperated from the pack, and they are ALL cowards and carry weapons at all times. Seriously, if they come near me and start talkn s**t, all i gotta do is punch the guy in the face, and he'll probably cry.
and eminem is such a wigger.
people gotta learn that rappers make money. they MAKE MONEY, to act a certain way, why would u actually act that way in public!?
I hate rap, and george lucas. |

People who likes rap, I think are shallow because they are constantly listening to songs which tell them to f**k a girl with big boobs and booties. And female who listen to rap...I just don't understand them. Not all rap songs are abut sex/boobs/booties/pimps/ ...(the list goes one). But they are taking over the decent rap songs. >__> |

Gawd, I HATE RAP!!!!!! It's so annoying to listen too! Plus, I know there's a guy in my class who actually tries to do rap! His e-mail was even lilenimen something... _________________ It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:
Song: Seize the Day by Default
Anime: D.Gray Man
Anime character(s): Kanda
Video Game: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Video Game character: Wolf O-Donnell from Star Fox Assault
OC: Ray Eclrida, copyright of me (duh!)

[b]you damn crackers don't know a thing or two about a thing or two.
It's simply a genre, plain and just that, SIMPLE!
People like it, the same way you honkies like country music. I don't think it's THAT hard to comprehend...or maybe your little minds can't pick up on such an easy tidbit to grasp.
Either way, it's gonna be here for years. And it's no less relevant than any other genre of music, such as punk rock.

The first person was right. Somewhat. You know how GnR's 'Welcome to the Jungle' makes you wanna go crazy and f**k s**t up, just because it's all wild, and how love songs make you sad and s**t? Well, I used to listen to rap too, and it did the same thing to me, emotion-wise, It made me feel like a badass and untouchable. Not all rap is bad, and all of ya'lls interpretation of it being solely about bitches and killing is wrong. If anyone cares and is serious about this subject, here are a few very very good rap song that are meaningful and is actually worth listening to, "Six Feet Deep" by Getto Boys, "Gangsta Lean" by DRS, "Tha Crossrads" by Bone Thugs. The subject matter on all of these is the same. Someone they love has died and this is their tribute. Six Feet Deep is the only true rap song out of these three. If you can, download one and check it out, you'll understand that their is talent in rappers.
lol, imagine what hip hop forums say about your type of music, lol _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

Rap isn't my favorite genre, but I like just about every genre in one way or another. I respect anyone who enjoys that kind of music, and the same goes for anyone else who enjoys any other kind. Some rap songs are actually really catchy. |

I'd like to make a suggestion of a rap artist that I actually like. his name is Buck 65 (yes, that is a parody of 50 Cent) and the dude is a 32-year-old white Canadian. His songs are really good and they're not all about boozing and women and drug dealing. he has lyrics like
"When I was a kid I was hiding in the ditched/Living in fear of Satan and the witches"
he has a another good song called "Wicked and Weird", which is also good. Check him out. _________________ |

i like less contemperary rap on occasion (you know, alternative pop/rock). such things like the left rights, gorillaz and beck (ok, bad example...) all have rap-elements and tunes, but they're good listining music. anything that can put me into a transe for a couple hours while i "watch" the oc is fine by me.
plus the gorillaz have "funkyphantoms." you gotta love "funkyphantoms." |

Hmm.. What to say and where to begin?
I'm not a big fan of rap.
(Note my topic.)
But when people say "rap", they think of the crap that 50, Luda, and Lil Jon produce. (Which is about sex. Money. "Ganstas", ect.)
But if it's not, and its about something meaningful, I might just happen to like it.
And I don't think Eminem is that much better either. i like songs like "Mosh", and "Toy soldier" (I haven't heard the original, so I can't say much about that one.) But the other crap, like "Ass like that" or "My balls" shouldn't be on the radio as often as they are.
