Stolen Art

I noticed someone posting other's art, and when asked about it said:

No. Unless it's done by the artist, it is not allowed. A few exceptions slip by when it's done by a younger sibling or parent or something because that person only has one piece and has no use for an account, but in general, no (and even parent/sibling pictures should be being rejected at this point). And [i]especially[/i] if it's by another online artist. It's stealing, even if you give credit.

And for everyone else, if someone wants to post their work, they [i]must[/i] make their own account. It takes all of five minutes.

This is NOT allowed. All panel staff are suppose to reject that. I have and always will. Either way, it's stealing what this person is doing. And if you sibling or parent has something to show off, then they should sit down, make their own account, and get on with it.

I found another person who stole art, and when I asked them to remove it to prevent their account from getting deleted they flamed me for it... twice. heh heh

Can't say I didn't try to help them.

Not picture title and category, a URL! Without one, I generally skip over the report for one that includes one because it takes waaaay too much time to look through a category for a specific one. You wanna report something, then [i]you[/i] can give me a link. . . . .

Not sure about Raymei, but I'm sure she'd appreciate not having her time wasted as well. They'll get done without a URL, but they'll take much longer.

URL URL URL... URL of both the stolen picture AND where it was stolen from. No patience for a link to the main page of a site unless the image is on the main page. Get as close as you can (obviously I understand if you have to link to a gallery page or something).

Make him a yahoo or hotmail account. Doesn't take but a few minutes, and then you could just tell him the information for it.

Hell, even if someone didn't have any authority, it's not that hard to read the rules and forum discussions. <_< Ain't no one's fault but your own if you're ignorant of the rules because you never read them. And isn't it oh so funny when people claim they didn't know you couldn't upload art by someone else? Just proves they clicked "agree" and didn't read a single word of the rules page.

On the comment page I didn't know if you were refering to me or not when you asked about being an authority. I never used those words but just mentioned that you were a moderator to back up my point about uploading friends' pics. Just thought that ren fan would understand that better than me just saying to take it down.
