So why [i]did[/i] the chicken cross the road?

And don't give me any of that "to get to the other side" crap or I'll go like this: Grr!

Because there was a jail break from the farm and tunneling wasn't an option.

Because he lived a boring life and wanted to do some thrill seeking. (road crossing, woohoo!)

Because no cop was there to see him jaywalk.

Because he hoped someone would make a chicken-crossing sign. (such an honor to da chickens!)
