How Do You Get A Guy To Like You?

I usually don't come right out and say this, but that was one of the stupidist things I've ever heard/ seen anyone say/type. I admire a lot of the people on this thread for giving shinto_grrl girl advice and was surprised that msot of it was serious. I must say everyone has been right that her liking this fellow is unreasonable and truly unjustified, but I think it should be said that the same runs true for liking most people on the high school level.

Are they worth marrying? Are they worth drawing time away from studies or more important activities? I wouldn't know personally because I'm against relationships of that sort altogether, but I've seen how boy/girl friends can be very high maintenance. In fact, they're down right bothersome. Even if you did get this fellow to like you, you'd have to continue playing the role that you took on to achieve that goal. Even if you were being yourself, that now means spending hours talking to him on the phone, suffering jealousy and suspicion, and/or going to do things with him.

I don't know about you, but I couldn't fit it in. I can only think of one person worth making that sacrifice for- my role-playing buddy. No one, especially a male, in your grade is worth sacrificing your future for. I'm not trying to be pessimistic or even a cynical realist, but they're not mature enough. nd no offense- because I know freshmen think they're grown up already, but I don't think anyone in highschool, most of all freshmen, are mature enough for an actual relationship.

Here it is from a guy...Guys have small minds we don't understand you probably more than you don't understand us. about 80% of us that are between the ages of 13 and 35 just want do have sex. We are pigs and well we have trouble commiting. Beyond that if you like a guy talk to him get to know him. he might like you. if not suck it up and drive on. your young and well sad to qoute a cheese line but "there are many fish in the sea" all shapes sizes and colors(no pun intended). you can't geta guy to like you like that. If he can't notice you or like you for who you really are then forget him. Move on. Soon you will find someone who will like you for YOU!!. I had a situation where i knew this guy liked me, but never had the time for me. I felt terrible, but eventually someone found me! I never expected to have a guy like me like that. Now we have been together for over a year.

If he can't notice you, forget him. And look for someone who will give up their world for you!
