The Amityville Horror was the worst movie that I've ever seen. I don't usually fall asleep while watchig movies, but I did halfway through this movie. The book was so much better.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie. I never want to see that movie again. My sister, friend, and little brother went to see it when it first came out. The theatre was packed with people so we sat in the very back. I remeber sitting there and thinking to myself "why the hell am I watching this?" There was this old guy sitting infront of us that fell asleep and started snoring really loud so my little brother threw popcorn at him. It was painstaking to watch that movie, but funny to watch the reactions of other people. There were so many yawns that went around the room. I don't see how it could be selling. People who buy the DVD or VHS obviously didn't see the movie in the theatres.

Battlefield earth.....oh I just wish I hadn't paid good money to see that film.

Street Fighter (The live action movie)

The Core.....

1980's Brain damage....okay the whole evil monster eating peoples brains while living a kids neck was really wrong. The whole movie was just saying don't do drugs, I want a horror movie not an underlying message.

hmmmmmm... I disagree coz the Alien sequels were really good and some of the Friday the 13th 1's were too (some of em sucked those, the 1 with the bugs)

ack! the live action streetfight! its crappiness made it funny, you could tell none of the actors knew anything about the game <_< I couldn't watch all of it so turned over

hmmmmmm... I dont watch films I know I wont like (soppy girly movies, titanic, any Lizzie McGuire film, etc) soooo cant really think of any now, Ill think about it more tomorrow and come back, k? Wink Im too tired to think now...

But see, you only listed one, two exceptions at most. Razz I said MOST sequels suck, not all. I couldn't think of any examples, so I figured I'd just say most. ^_^;; I don't see too many sequels, I try to avoid them now. But you do occassionally get a good one. Shrek 2 might be okay, but I'm wary. You just gotta be wary.

Hey, I liked The Hot Chick! Then again, I'm a sucker for pretty much all Rob Schneider movies. The Animal, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, all of 'em. Rolling eyes

Hm, lame movies... I really hated Moulin Rouge, just 'cause the storyline n' all that wasn't really my thing. Wouldn't say it was that bad 'cause the costumes and sets were really good.

The worst, though, HAS to be Rock Star. Oh god does that movie suck. It's like the most stereotypical fantasy land of watered down cliches shoved into an hour and a half of pure and utter crap. It has maybe two moments, and there's a decent amount of eye candy long haired boys in leather (I'll admit, I leave the volume low and glance at it on VH1 while I'm on the computer), but other than that it's like taking any self-respecting band's history and taking out all the good parts. Just watch it and you'll see. In fact, I believe it's on VH1 again on Sunday. . . . .

I can't even express how much I despise that movie. That chick from Friends plays the girlfriend. The blonde one. UGH. It's so horrible I want to stab whoever came up with it. Someone watch it just so you can insult it with me. Such a lame plot. Look, I can summarize and it's about as entertaining as the entire movie:

Boy sings in tribute band. Boy is "rock god". Boy's bandmates kick him out because they're tired of being a tribute band. The band the boy was paying tribute to gets a tape of him from some loyal groupies. Band kicks out asshole singer and invites tribute boy to join. Several watered down incidents follow and the required revelation of "I don't really want this." Boy meets old high school girlfriend again and lives happily ever after.

Oh yeah, that's entertaining.

lol, ohhhhhh k Wink hmmmm... some other good sequels? er... Toy Story 2 was good and Kill Bill 2 (altho I havent seen it!) and ummmm... the Nightmare on Elm street seguels were good to and so was God of Gamblers2 (chinese film) and all of the Young and Dangerous sequels (another Chinese film) there was 6 of em but the last 1 was a prequel  ummm... all the Star Wars were good aswell, the Critters sequals were awesome and so were the gremlin 1s , theres more but Im to lazy to write em Rolling eyes
other bad films Ive seen:
- Daredevil, was ok but couldn't have been alot better, they relied to much on graphics instead of skill <_<
- the League of E.G. - not much to say, used too many character stereotypes

theres more but as I said Im in a lazy mood right now and dont feel like typing more WTF? tomorrow I will

lol am i the only one who didn't like moulin rouge? argh you guys gotta watch some real musicals and then you'd see how bad it is. go see singin' in the rain, easter parade, white christmas, lil shop of horrors, top hat, rocky horror, or even chicago. and like i said, the songs in moulin rouge are pretty good, it's just the acting, storyline, and overall presentation that i didn't like. maybe i'm just not used to that style? or maybe it's just me.

more bad movies:
final destination 2 (another example of a bad sequel)
the new star wars movies- the phantom menace and attack of the clones. i love the original trilogy but i just can't get into the new ones. ewan mcgregor was the only good thing about them. and natalie portman was pretty cool.

i had more but my mind just went blank...

Just for the record, Kill Bill Volume 2 is NOT a sequal. It is the second part of a two part movie. And Star Wars is a sequel type movie as well. Those are trilogies, not sequels.

See, Toy Story 2 WAS a sequel, and it wasn't that bad. There are some decent sequels, but most of them time sequels are merely spawns of wanting to squeeze as much possible money from one story idea as possible.

See, I just wanted to prove my point. ^_^;; Most, not all, but most! I feel compelled to say that Disney is a bad culprit of this. >_> You know all those movies that they release straight to video? Those are almost ALWAYS lame sequels of great Disney movies.

god disney sequels... make me want to punch someone. multiple times. i haven't even seen most of the new ones, since i can't even stand watching the commercials for them. all were incredibly shameful and just bad, especially compared to their much better counterparts. aladdin 3 was ok, because i thought it was cool that you got to learn about his past (sorry i'm a bit of an aladdin freak. heh even now i still watch the 1st one a lot). and yes, i thought toy story 2 was very well done. but sweet jeezus can't they just STOP making all these pointless and dull sequels?!?!? most are straight to video and completely unimaginative. try hiring some decent writers and maybe you can make a decent movie! it's not like they don't have the money...

Yeah, when's the last time Disney actually made a good movie? Without Pixar's help, and I don't even care for those, but I'll give 'em the fact they're pretty good as far as quality goes. All the sequels to the classics...sad. . . . .

And I said in my post that I didn't like Moulin Rouge. Thanks for readin' it. Razz

How could I have forgotten Daredevil? That was a horrible movie!!!!!! I have no clue how I sat through that crap. The fight scenes were laughable..was affleck even in those damn scenes at all? They were so fake it reminded me much of The mummy 2 and the scorpian scene. Of course the acting sucked seeing as how ben affleck was in it. I saw it so damn long ago I can barely remember.

Uptown girls was pretty bad. Especially the ending.. the stupid lil girl running away... britney murphy going on about how she liked to spin around or some s**t when she was upset... and the lame ass song and dance at the end Smile I had to turn it off... too crappy.

Lucky. I had no choice but to sit there with my friends in that cramped little theater and pretend to like it. This was like 2 or 3 weeks after moving into the neighborhood, so I was glad to have anyone ask me to join them at the movies, no matter how crappy it was.
