Fair and balanced. Rolling eyes

Bad:

The dialogue was a little better- because there was less of it. Natalie Portman is still a bad actor :/ Yoda fighting still looks lame. etc etc... it was more of a 'hmm that's interesting' movie for me, but I didn't go in thinking it had any chance of showing up Empire Strikes Back. Grievous was really really really really gay. Obi-Wan's superman pose made me snort when it was all quiet. Force lightning was frickin amazing, but then they overused it. The use of the word youngling implies that these people, being in another galaxy, may have different terminology from us. This is the only word they chaged, and it stuck out like a sore thumb. Let's pause for no reason on the name Chewbacca, since it was only thrown in to hammer the two sides of the story together. Preppies think Hayden Christinsen is hot. I could have done without the gratuitous 6-pack scene shoved in on their behalf.

Major laugh point-- James Earl Jones voice "Is she all right?" - "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo." Lame.

Fight scenes weren't very good, but better than the Matrix. They kept doing the same moves over and over and didn't bother improvising with random objects or anything :/ it felt very fake.

The droid army apparently wasn't very far away from Coruscant. On one hand, this makes sense because they keep attacking Coruscant. On the other hand, why didn't the Empire find them. I find it unlikely that Palpatine had that much control, seeing as there are the rebels and all. My complaint with this is that Palpatine arrived within 5 minutes of Anakin's defeat, or Anakin would have been dead. I'm no doctor, but ya know... he was burning. I would at least think that the loss of his legs would cause him to go into shock.

I guess hair designs are passed along through genes. Either that, or Leia likes to sport retro trends? Also, Padme died before her kids could possible remember her, while in Return of the Jedi, after Luke asks specifically if Leia remembers her REAL mother, Leia says yes. I haven't seen that movie in 4 years >>

Good:

Mace Windu dying was a great improvement to the cast. Mass Jedi assassination. The thing Obi-Wan rode on annoyed my step-dad. Clones rock. Good guys flying TIE-fighters in the beginning, and bad guys have X-wings, nice touch. Force lightning. Palpatine is just a pimp. he's the only reason I wanted to see it.

COOLEST THING IN THE MOVIE: Grand Moff Tarkin on the bridge of the Star Destroyer at the end. (Antilles was pretty cool, too. A shame they didn't have a little Wedge running around mucking things up.)

Altogether, the film felt very forced. Not to mention they made such a big deal out of Boba Fett in the last one, when he's really not important to the story. Sooo, they ruined my favorite character without any reason at all. I thought the movie was fun, but it remains an insult to the earlier three.

Yeah, I was wondering about this Leia remembering her mother thing, as well.....Maybe 'Ol Georgie wanted to get this movie over with so he could get on with his life and he just somehow forgot about that... Laughing I don't know.

Oooops. Lucas made a big mistake. Grab your torches and pitchforks!!! Lucas ruined his own franchise. *chuckles* kidding. Very Happy

Yeah, I figured the P-man was sort of pimping the audience. He's one of the major reasons why I'm crazy about the movie. Well, him and Yoda. I totally love the way the Sith fight and intimidate!!! Soooo Coool!!!!

My friends said that it would be funny to have a gay jedi or sith lord. They say he could wear fur and tight clothing and have a hot pink light saber. He could speak with a lisp and prance around with his force powers.

As funny as it was i slapped my friend. i said " no no no no"

C'mon. McDiarmid couldn't possibly be gay. It's the seduction of the Dark side. He was only doing his part. I see, the Dark side clouds your judgement. Laughing

The lisp thing would be cool, though.

I saw it yesterday, or was it the day before yesterday? WTF? I remember nothing anymore...I thought it was alright. I sat through it easier than the other SW movies (i.e. I didn't feel like ripping my fingernails off with pliers within 30 mins. of it).

Then you should watch it again! For me, it's always about Yoda and the P-man.

I really enjoyed that. But there were a couple things that bugged me. First of all, Greivous was s**t compared to his Clone Wars version. And second, Hayden may have done a good job as Anakin, but as Vader? No thanks, the guy could barely fill the suit.

I was really expecting Greivous to put up amuch better too.

In clone wars, he was able to take out five or six jedi by himself, but in the movie he had backup, and failed to defeat one.

Grievous is a coward. Get used to it. I still think he sucked big-time, though. He was quicker and more agile in Clone Wars. And I expected him to have a lightsaber fight with Obi-Wan on the heliport. But he ended up getting shot at with a plasma gun. Lame death. Grievous really isn't important, so it's still okay.

I can't really remember what Grievous was like in the Clone Wars since I saw it when I was, like, eight or nine. But he still just looks cool to me... don't care whether he sucked or not... he looked good and thats all that matters in America. Wink

Yeah, I know. 4 lightsabers in a row! That's serious! He's cool but I hate cowards.

Ugh. The movie was terrible. It would have been much nicer if the actors could, y'know, actually act. The actors were monotonous, and whenever they actually tried to do a bit of emotion, it sounded so fake. Sad They should have cast some other people. <<; Budget for everything went down in favour of the special effects. Sad Which was a bad idea, if you ask me.

So, the most memorable part of the movie for me was... Ahaha. Anakin is FLAMING. XD
