The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Theres lots of info in the new game like Link is able to fight on horseback and Link can turn into a wolf. There was this one really kool trailer on it but I forgot the link to it. There is also a "new" weapon called the Gale Bommerang. Its just like the old boomerang but when thrown it creates like a little tornanto and it can pick up tiles, fling them around the room and uncover secrets within the room. Theres some more things but I can't really remember them. What type of stuff do you know about the new game?

Yeah it does! I heard that it may come out in 11/1/05 (same month as my birthday!! )). I can't wait till it comes out. I just remembered something I read, I think somewhere in the game Link helps out some monkeys, and in return the monkeys help him out. In this game he looks like a true animal lover! On picture I saw was that Link was holding and petting a cat (aww!!) I thought that was so kool. Also when Link is a wolf there is a little imp, that helped him, that rides on his back and helps fight.

The lamp also looks like the one that huge poe (Jalhalla) that you had to fight as a boss, I think thats in the Earth Temple.

Lol, yeah. I remember when my friend got to the boss room and she saw all of them dancing around, and when them stopped she was like "Oh s**t." I said "Hey that looks like fun!" ^_^

Some sites also offer the trailer in Windows Media format.

A word for the wise: Don't go looking for explanations about why Link turns int oa wolf. Save the suspense, the surprise, for when the game's released and you can actually [i]play[/i] it. For now, just remember that the key word is 'wolf', not 'werewolf'.

I'm definitely going to look forward to the new Zelda game, myself. I mean, how often does a game feature a playable pure-wolf? Or any kind of pure animal? Games usually star humans, humanoids, or furries/anthros.

I'm not too sure on the graphical style, though. I mean... the realistic textures and shading are nice, and the environmental lighting in several scenes is downright awesome, but... I guess I draw certain amount of "uncanny valley" factor from it. Call me old-school, but cartoony graphics tend to [i]feel[/i] more realistic than realistic graphics.

I've been waiting forever for this game! Every now and then I would be sitting in my desk at school and I would start squeeling quietly to myself, the person next to me would be like "Wtf...?" then I'd turn to them with a large grin on my face and say "The Legend of Zelda...Twilight Princess.." lol It's kinda funny to watch their reactions.

Although the list of finalists for this year's action adventure category is certainly a strong one, the decision to name The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as the winner was a quick and painless one. The timed four-level demo of Twilight Princess at E3 boasted more varied and enjoyable gameplay than many action adventure games already in stores, let alone those present at E3. Plus, the line of show attendees waiting up to three hours to get their hands on it was difficult to ignore. The fact that Twilight Princess has the word "Zelda" in its title automatically ensures a high level of interest, of course, but there were plenty of games of good pedigree on the show floor, and only one of them was responsible for a West Hall stampede every morning.

The most impressive thing about the clearly lovingly crafted E3 demo of Twilight Princess, though, was simply that it was very difficult to find fault with, regardless of your stance on Nintendo's return to a more-traditional visual style for the series. Highlights of the demo included herding goats on horseback, cooperating with friendly monkeys to negotiate a jungle locale, jousting with a boar rider, and battling a huge plant boss with Link's new gale boomerang.

Like the majority of Nintendo games, Twilight Princess was incredibly easy to pick up and play, and it's hard to imagine anyone not having fun with it. At a show where guns and zombies were a common sight, the most enjoyable action adventuring to be found undoubtedly involved swords, spiders, killer plants, monkeys, and a boomerang.[/quote]

Nintendo is [i]planning[/i] to have it finished & released by the end of the year, but as it's still in development, dates may change, so identifying a precise date of release is implausible.

Like with many things, be patient and it'll arrive before you realize it.

I can't wait for the new Zelda game!!!! I have seen loads of pics, and one trailer, and it looks AWESOME!!!! I wonder though. Are Hylians the only race in the game? Will there be new races? Will there be Gerudo(I love Gerudo)? Will I become insane by the time it comes out? Will my gamecube get fixed in time? I have no idea.

It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
