I have brown hair that looks light brown in the sun and almost black at night. Thinking of getting highlights on the tips of my hair. It sounds cool to me.

haha sorry Kate I found that funny, Thing is im probably more "native american" than you are and I look NOTHING like it. My grandmother and even my mom have all the traits mostly, thank god. But yeah if you get back, trust me its going to KILL your hair when you want it lighter, seeing as you have to strip all the black out if you want a lighter color. Sad

My original hair colour is a redish brown but I dyed it black without my mum's permission. I got in alot of trouble for that and it's permanent to...Oh well she'll just have to wait for it to grow out. Good thing I like my hair short.

Man that is going to look so tacky though once your light roots are past your ears Surprised It is absolutely permenant (god I can't spell) you can go to a hair salon and they can strip the color out for you once your roots have grown in alot. Thats what I'm doing at least Wink

I need to get my hair retouched this weekend. And cut. Its past my shoulders now and its at its best when its cut above them. And my roots are beginning to show and thats never good. Sad Especially with ponytails. Its like dirty blonde in the front and then as you go down it suddenly turns very light blonde. It needs to be fixed.

I want to try some kind of different color with my hair but because my mom is a hair stylist and very meticulous about my hair she'll probably not do it. Which is sad because I'd really love to see how I'd look with like purple streaks or electric blue if I'm feeling adventurous. Smile
