Okay, we all know that songs have different effects on us and for some of us, that effect is inspiration. Sometimes we just hear a song and it drives us to do something creative and thought-provoking.

So what songs inspire you to do what? Does AC/DC's Night Rider make you want to practice your guitar playing and maybe write your own riffs? Does GNR's Welcome to the Jungle give you the impetus to learn how to dance like Axl? Anything at all, you just talk about it here. Smile

As for me, well, for the last week and a half I have been getting almost all of my inspiration from Nine Inch Nail's song, Hurt. I have used that song for two art finals. One is for my Drawing class and the other is for my Photoshop class. Both projects turned out to be my best works yet. Something about that song drove me to capture the sorrow and hopeless emotions in that song and put them on paper or on the computer screen.

I'll probably be listening to a lot of Motley Crue this weekend though. My other final project for my Drawing class is to design a CD cover for a band we made up and my band's name is Primal Scream. Its supposed to be a Motley Crue-ish band so some Crue songs will help me get started with this project. Cool

You'll Rebel to anything (As long as it's not challenging) - Mindless Self Indulgence

It's a real slap in the face to bands like Green Day and all the bands who have to whine about how much their lives and america sucks.

the songs that inspire me are:
Dreams-Van Halen
Nothing else matters-Metallica
Wasted years-Iron Maiden

there's a whole lot more, but this what inspires me now, but all rock/heavy metal songs of great bands inspire me, mostly their greatest hits or whatnot, but yeah.

Your the kind of people this music is really ment to offend. Seriously you live her so deal with it, yeah something's here aren't great but alot of things are. So just deal with it and stop complaining. Would you rather live in a place like Hong Kong and become a 6 year old prosititute because your family can't make a living?

Most of Bob Dylan's songs inspire me to make a difference in the world,. they show me that one person can help.
Also, "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison is helpful to me when I am feeling religious.
"Who Knows" and "Freak Out" by Avril Lavigne are also inspirational... they make me want to live life to the fullest.
