hay all

i figured that we had better have a car talk. Yup. Post anything about cars that you wish to know and or like. Just let it all out. If i can get my stupid computer to take my pictures( which it hasn't for ages). I will post my beloved truck. But until then just tell me about your car, your dream car, or if you have problems with your car i might be able to help out so until we talk again.

WOW, a car talk! I always wanted to talk about cars with some of the lovely people here. But sadly, there are only a few fanatics. Now that this thread exists, I can let it all out. Strata said once that I'm well versed about cars.

Were talking about cars in general, right? Or anything related to them?

Well, I haven't thought of any specific dream car. Well, not yet. But I've always dreamt of making one. I hope I can get a job in the automobile industry after I finish college and my vocation. Cars are just so cool.

Shelby, eh? The car I admired the most since I was 9 years old was the McLaren F1. Fastest road car to date, I think.

Though some prefer muscle over sport, I prefer sport over muscle. I just love the high-pitched souns of them flashy sport coupes. V12, V8, V6, Flat8...everything! I just love 'em.

alright the descusion begins. Yeah that is a really cool model car there. It would be most awesome to own. My dream car is a viper GTS or something I made on on a model once and i figured hay that would be a cool car to drive. A nice black and red viper. It send shivers down my spine just thinking about it. But the insurance and car payments would be to much to bare.

The insurance would be way to high for someone like me......sigh.......oh well. maybe someday when i'm rich and stuff.

My current vehicle and mode of transportation is my 1990 Blue Chevy Pickup truck. I love my truck like its my child. I always put the best fuel i can find which is supreme. I work at my families gas station so its a bit cheaper for me. But the gas prices are so high.... Grr!

I will be getting a new motor and a trany for it soon and right after that i get to paint her. she will be a metalic midnight blue that way she will be blue in the daytime and black in the night time. I can just see it know. Nothing is to good for my baby. Which is also the name of the truck. I name stuff sorry. My trucks name is baby.

i love hummers they use lots of gas. Just how i like them. They spend lots of gas money at our station.

My dad said older models are more durable. I dunno but I believe him. I already saw a lot of head-ons and the ones I saw that were totaled were the new ones. The old models only got scratched...or if not, they penetrated the newer models' armor. Sorry, just had to bring this up.

alright i see what your talking about. first of all the older cars had a frame body which is very sturdy and older cars have them. The frame is made out of stell as the rest of the car is too. it was made to prevent denting. Most cars today still have frames but they are way weaker then the older ones. Thus the thing about your dad saying that older cars are stronger. Not to mention that at the time they had stell bumpers not the plastic pieces of s**t they have now. Did you know under the plastic bumper is styrofoam and that is all that is protecting your radiator. but anyway.

It gets worse more and more cars are having unibody styles. Which is not a frame at all just stronger parts of the car then others. It a pain when you jack up your car because if you do it wrong you can seriously bend something and stuff. These are things i learn from working in a service station and tow business...... Cool

oh and i forgot the reason why they started to make plastic stuff and make cars weaker is that in older cars sure the car is safer and won't be damaged as much as a newer one but your inside it and you bounce around like a pinball machine. You take the damage instead of the vechile.

In the newer cars they are made to tear apart so that the car takes the impact not you. which means the cars today are made to sacrifice themselves so that you don't get hurt....so people love your cars and trucks and vechicular mobile mobeeyeel's because they love you........ :wub:
