Why does it matter that newbies go to the general discussion and want people to read their work just because I went on here and wanted people to read my story haunting in the scifi section.  |

Because it comes off very rude to only visit the forums to pimp yourself out. In the wrong section, at that. It's also rude to start a new topic instead of replying to the old one because it takes up space and bumps other topics down.
