Riiiight. Swear to god some of you have extreme ADD. Rolling eyes

And Kate, personally, I don't envy "kids" one bit. I barely talked to anyone my own age until a couple years ago because of the extreme urge to tell them to "shut the hell up" going on and on about kiddie crap. Probably the reason I haven't had a birthday party since I was 8 when it was only polite for parents to force their kids to come. Also probably the reason I was never invited to any birthday parties. Uneasy My binder a few years ago had a sign stuck to it "I'm not anti-social. You people just suck." Those "kids" didn't even know what a vinyl record was or who Axl Rose is and all they knew about cocaine and heroin was "just say no". Fuckin' losers. :P

The popularity of the internet was fabulous 'cause I can talk to people without 'em treating me like a little kid. And by the time they find out, it doesn't matter 'cause they've already got an opinion of me without the immediate "she's a kid; she doesn't know anything".

If it weren't for the internet I wouldn't communicate with others as much as I do. I'm usually pretty anti-social because either people think I'm weird or I think people are stupid. Luckily I have two really good friends who are as equally weird as I am. Very Happy On the internet I don't care if anyone thinks I'm a moron. Maybe that's why some people don't care if others think they are dumb and naive. I dunno.

I've been told by quite a few people that I lack common sense, and I'm a little slow to catch onto things (jokes, hints, stuff like that). Sad But that's ok.

I'm more social in "real life", for lack of a better word. The more time I spend with a person, the more comfortable and social I'll be, and it's easier to do that when you're standing in front of me in person.

I don't know why there's this stereotype that people who spend a lot of time on the internet are antisocial. I spend a good deal of my day online and I've got plenty of friends, and I'll bet a lot of other people here do too. Yeah we're a little kooky, but what the hell does "normal" mean anyway?

"Normal" describes 51%+ of the community. If 51% or more of us are insane, then it is safe to say that we are all normal.

But wouldn't "insane" not really be insane anymore, because that's how most people act?

The thing of it for me is, Even when I was say... in preschool, I didn't have a lot of friends because I didn't act my age. I never got to be really act like a kid and run around in the yard, that sort of thing. I'm glad I'm not overly ignorant or naive, in some cases, I just feel it would be easier if I were.

You can be mature for your age and still have fun. What kid doesn't enjoy a rousing game of "ghosts in the graveyard?" I still play it, though I'm in high school - albiet with a few modifications.

No, no... you aren't understanding this. I've been the same way for quite a long time. I never really got to be really naive or any of that. It's really hard for me to act up in real life :/ Which is why... I don't really act up, ever.

Insane would still mean insane. We'd just be too crazy to know it. Common trends of mental capacity don't influence whether or not those people show valid logic in their reasoning.

I'm really did get brain damage about three weeks after birth.
I got a rare sickness that made me go into shock, and it damaged my brain.
So, your thinking,"if she can type on FAC, then she isn't stupid", WRONG!
I'm emotionally damaged in which I take things diffrently. So, I'm smarter than the average people in my age group, but my brain damage has made my emotional being immature.

Sadly, me as well.

If I'm one of those stupid people, it's most likely from me getting hit in the head with a shopping cart when I was about three or four, I think. I had to get stitches (sp?). Or I could have sustained some brain damage when I slipped in the shower, recently, and black out for a few seconds. It's kindda funny but people have died from that.

I was jumpn on a basketball once..... for no apparent reason.. by myself in my basement.. concrete floors.. and i fell ... obviously.. i didn't black out but I couldn't move for like a full minute.....it was kinda scary. I all thought I was paralyzed :o

But umm... yeah to the topic.. I'm dumb.....I've been very naive in the past. Not so much now. But I've known really dumb ass naive people who need to die... now.
