...Could you even tell that it was a storyline? Come on be honest. Plus the "perfect ending" kinda sucked, you don't even have to get 100% completion to get it. Lets all complain about the ending now.

There were like, three or four different endings right? I know I saw the one that was near perfect. The one where Tidus is found floating just like in FFX on the shores of Besaid. Yuna jumps down from the ship and there is a cute little ending. I heard the perfect ending was horrible. There were 1 or 2 more and they had to do with it not really being Tidus on that sphere. Seriously though, looking for someone can not be an RPG unless it involves a vast star empire fighting another and that's the reason they were lost in the first place. Being stranded on different worlds and only trying to stay alive and help your lost father mother and.....wtf is that girl to Fayt anyway?.... :huh:

The one where Tidus is floating like at the end of FFX is the perfect one...or atleast I thought it was. I'm pretty sure it is though. Oh well...what do I know.

That's wrong from my knowledge. There is indeed a different ending for near completion and 100%. Why the hell wouldn't there be??....
There are at LEAST 3 different endings from what I know. The one with Tidus and Yuna meeting back up and everything being totally f**king awesome for everyone is the almost perfect ending, to please all the people who almost completely beat the game. (Everyone). I understand the logic behind it, considering they must have noticed how much the game sucked in comparison to its predicessor(sp?)....

I thought it went like this

Ending#1: After beating Vegnagun Yuna wanders around the farplane bitching about stuff and her story.
Ending#2 After beating Vegnagun hit the X button and You'll hear Tidus Whistle and his "ghost" will appear and hug Yuna and she'll bitch about how she'll except memories are only memories.
Ending 3#: (if you have 95% and up just hit the X button in the far plane or if you have 100% it will go by it's self) The one where Tidus comes back. I know this is right 'cause my friend actually got 100% completion. And according to the Brady games guide this is correct. Sorry to seem like an argueing bitch, but I like to be right

Hah, I never claim to be right, I was just saying from what I knew/heard. I haven't played very far into it so I honestly couldn't say. I've seen the one ending I described a little and that's it. The game sucked. But I'll still have to beat it just to say that I did. Like hell I'll get the perfect ending though! I'm not wasting that much time on that game!

The endings are:

[i]"Bad" ending[/i] - Get killed in the final stage of the Vegnagun battle, or otherwise fail to kill it before it fires its mega cannon. Scene of the Calm Lands erupting into debris from underneath. Fade to white. Game over.

[i]Default ending[/i] - Scene of Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj addressing the crowd at Luca theater, then Yuna flying home on the Celsius.

[i]"Good" ending[/i] - At the end of the game, when Yuna's walking through the field of Farplane flowers, press X. A ghost of Tidus will appear embracing Yuna from behind and she talks retrospectively. Then proceed with the default ending.

[i]"Better" ending[/i] - Near the end of Chapter 3, when Yuna's all alone, hit X and someone will whistle. Chase the ghost that appears and keep hitting X, it will eventually lead Yuna back out. Then hit X again at the end of the game (where Yuna's walking through the flowers). A fayth will appear and ask Yuna a question, so say yes. Proceed with the default ending, then there's an extra scene at the end:

The extra scene starts with the same teaser as at the end of FFX, with Tidus awakening in the ocean surrounded by a few pyreflies and swimming upwards.  This time, he splashes out of the water just as the Celsius lands, Yuna jumps out to meet him.  He comments on how Yuna's changed, she says she'll tell him all about it, while Besaid's residents are all watching on the beach.  Wakka says "Get a room, you two!"[/quote] [i]"Perfect" Ending[/i] - Complete the game with 100+ or higher, and do all the steps for the 'Better' Ending. There's supposed to be another extra scene added after the Better ending. i think x-3 is a good idea but needs tweaking a lot, all the areas should be redone example full sized city, luca with back alleys and hidden shops.

FFX-2 lacked so much.
No weapons to aquire, no summons/ediolions/Gaurdian Forces/Aeons, No limit breaks/trance/overdrive.

It made me sad

I really hope not.

I didn't bother buying the game or playing it all the way through, but as much as I played it for, it was unamusing. I think I almost got up to the second chapter when I rented it, but then it was just kinda like, "Ok, screw it, this is boring." The whole "girl power" thing was making me sick.

And then when my friend was playing (she likes it..>_>) she asked me to fight a boss for her. It had been about half a year since I played it last, and I vaugely remembered the battle system. After fighting again, I have to say that the fast-paced kinda fighting was pretty fun, although after an hour of helping her out with her game, it got boring again. >_>;;

And Rikku is too much of a secondary character to star in her own game (in my opinion).

Yup..as I have said before FFX-3 bad. I don't think Square could milk another title out of the old Final Fantasy X world. Nope. And if they did I will give every employee of Square an atomic wedgie.

Well I got a demo for final fantasy 12, the jap version with subtitles from buying Star Ocean and at the beginning it says that 12 takes place 2 years after X, so dunno 12 might b something in relation as some kind of sequel.
I heard they brought bak the old sphere system for it, one from X.

Um, you mean Final Fantasy X-2 (10-2). 12 is totally unrelated. X-2 had dress-spheres and a wack battle system. I heard FFXII is going to be real-time -ish.
FFX-3 will mean the end of FFX. The entire universe will collapse if it is allowed to be created.

I know, I don't see how 12 is related, I dunno y Square put that in it's demo.
I heard it's system is more like X the original.
I still don't think 10-3 is a good idea, they should have left it with the first alone.

Hmmm.....FF XII...I heard it was to be more action/adventure than an RPG. Oh well. Back to FFX-3. The only way Square could pull it off if was if they did a story that took place in Spira but it had nothing to do with Yuna and Tidus and the rest of the gang. Maybe it could follow the story of another summoner? Or the entire story could take place in Zanarkand. But I still think FFX-3 would suck.
