Ultimecia is a whore. What was it? Five forms?
I've beaten her without the use of Selphie before, but if you want a quick end to the battle with Ultimecia (all forms) then use Selphie. Her auto-kill move works wonders (that is, if you're lucky enough to find it). _________________

She has 4: ultimecia, griever, ultimcia-griver hybrid & finally ultimecia's mutated form.
I never used "The End", but found Renzokuken > Lionheart to work very nicely, so I either kept Squall at low health & revived him when needed, or assigned 1 character with the task of casting Aura whenever he needed it. It could be a pretty gruelling fight sometimes, but Lionheart was a life-saver. |

I always die at mutated ultimacia...my Curaga and Regen always get "blown away"
Kes-- To get Anima you have to get all the secret items in all the temples don't ya? _________________ I have magical female powers

Recently been playing Devil May Cry... and I beat 'Hard' mode. (Rough ride!)
Also been playing a bit of Spyro: A Hero's Tail. I've always had a liking for the Spyro games (that's why I started drawing, you know!), but ever since Spyro's PS2 flop of "Enter the Dragonfly" (which, seriously, should NOT have earned itself the 'Greatest Hits' classification), you might say Spyro's a broken series. Hero's Tail is a step in the right direction for the series in terms of production value -- good, even if not great. Now if only Hero's Tail was the PS2/GC launch for the Spyro series instead of Enter the Dragonfly, then Spyro might be one of those game series where people eagerly anticipate to play the next title... instead of being one of those washed-up game series that people overlook while waiting for the next Jak, the next Halo, the next Zelda....
The first thing I noticed about Hero's Tail was the new art style, and that alone held my interest in it. But because of Enter the Dragonfly's precedent, it wasn't until the price tag on Hero's Tail recently dropped to $20 that I said "Deal." _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Gonna try the "Dante Must Die" difficulty next?
I just got SNK Vs Capcom: Chaos. Not a bad game, but I guess I'll have to spend some time trying all the SNK characters to see who's good and who isn't. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

It only makes sense! *mutter* Now I'm gonna have to translate the Japanese version of seales sword. >< I really suck at things like that. |

Ah, yes... That thing was the best. My basic strategy was: kill off everyone except for Squall, Quistis, Selphie, and Rinoa.
Which three I got first were the people I'd use: Squall and Quistis for sure, and either Selphie or Rinoa. Rinoa and Selphie were mainly to Aura the other two, and Slphie could be used for her The End skill, and Rinoa for her Invincible Moon. Just keep Squall using Renzokuken -> Lionheart. Quistis was there as healer, as well as for her Blue Magic - giving Griever a taste of his own medicine was largely satisfying. X3
At anyrate, the game I'm playing now would be a Tokyo Mew Mew game - the RPG for PSX. ^^ Voice overs 100% of the time! YES. _________________
