Help Of Art

[COLOR=green]Hi! I recently joined this site because I wanted to show everyone my art and things but one problem has always came across my mind...1 thing is that I don't have a scanner <_< or one of those photo shop programs . . . .

so the only thing I can do is post stories up since I [b]love[/b] to write. I have windows 98 and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me more about the recent kinds of Photo shop or what I can use to make my art...*hopes it's free* Uneasy

MS Paint = Microsoft Paint.. Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint.
MSPaint is a very simple program and I'd suggest only using the program for art of that sort. It'd be too hard for someone to attempt usual graphics with it unless pixel art is your passion.

Photoshop isn't free though you may find some trial versions featured in magazines and sites on the net. Check www.download.com though I don't know if they have any. Also if your mum or dad or someone has computer-smart friends they maybe able to set you up with a free copy. Ask around.

Libraries, open schools and colleges most likely have scanner(s) Ask around and see what you can find. Otherwise, invest. Get some cash one way or another, if you really want to show your art, go for it.

I wish I had a free copy. *daydream sequence*

You can always download free 30-day trials of different programs off of the company's websites.

Gimp is pretty similar to photoshop when it comes to digital painting. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that PS does, but most of those are really made for photos anyway and shouldn't be used in art.

It's also free.
