Nope, several times. It's really only once sentence in The Dirt, along the lines of "blah blah blah when you become so desperate you're shooting heroin into your dick blah blah blah", but the image is very ..... eeeeeesh. Not nearly as funny as the time he asked a waiter for a bottle cap and began cooking up some heroin right in front of him, much to the shock of the waiter while Nikki just stared at him like "what?".

He was a really bad case. I heard that most of the the Motley Crue photo shoots were done after him and Tommy would shoot some heorin and come completely stoned. Once read about how they got bored of sex not too long after that. Nikki ended up screwing a girl with a champange bottle because he just didn't find sex interesting anymore.

I'm so so sore. My hips are sore, shoulder's sore, neck is sore, voice is gone, all with the emotional bliss equivalent to having been shagged senseless. I <3 the Crue.

I'll spare too many details, since I already wrote one of these, but there's always such a difference in watching a show from 6th row center and row 30 something. The heat of the pyro, freezing cold air from the fog (which felt most excellent), and being covered in booze/water from Nikki and Tommy. I don't think it's humanly possible for Nikki to look better, even covered in smeared face paint and torn clothes with marker writing all over them. Like forget-to-breathe gorgeous. Bone.

Tommy's entire face covered in neon green paint that glowed was quite...interesting. Mick's face paint made him look even more like a corpse, if that's possible (stitches n' whatnot). He moved well, though, all things considered. And played like a madman.

There just aren't shows like this anymore. Sad All the current bands have their lighting and background dancers/singers, a little pyro maybe, but Motley has a fuckin' show. Who doesn't wanna see naked girls and midgets? I propose that there be a weight limit on the titty cam, though. There were some very very large women flashing, and I may be scarred from it. Alas, I resisted the urge to do it, but it was hard. So very very hard. Sad I comfort myself with the knowledge that even if Motley doesn't tour again next year, Nikki will in some form or another.

The Crue are the Crue. And it doesn't get much better.

The same cannot be said for the openers, however.

Silvertide

I'd never even heard of these guys before, but I'm glad my friend and I went in early to check 'em out. The guitarist is beautiful (aside from the fucked up facial hair) and crazy talented. They had some great guitar solos. And the singer is like a less attractive Robert Plant with a different singing style. Not bad, though. Definite eye candy, and they know how to work a crowd, despite the minimal and uninterested crowd they had. The guitarist and singer both jumped the barricades and wandered up the aisles on either side of the middle section. Guitarist is even more of a pretty boy up close. The singer sat down in the row in front of me and took some guy's beer (well, he did at least ask first). Good fun. The tunes were ok, I'd have to hear studio versions, but they weren't terrible.

The Exies

I fuckin' hate the exies. And seeing them live was no exception. I thought it was funny when the singer came out and said "Hello Portland! We're the Exies! Everyone fuckin' stand up, there's too many people fuckin' sitting!" And the whole audience just stared at them with a "fuck you" expression. Cool

Sum 41

Do I really even need to bother? What waste of space, sorry excuse for musicians. Complete douchebags whose songs suck and whose performances suck even harder. Hey rat faced singer, you're neither clever nor cute with your self hating little comments. The drummer sang the last song and ass raped the bassist with the microphone. I wish that were a joke.

They weren't even entertaining to watch. Just gave me a headache.

So, if it were cut down to just Silvertide opening, that wouldn't be half bad. They fit much better with Motley's sound and style. But suffering through the other two was a small price to pay for the Crue. Even if you don't like the music, you have to love the show. And if you're a straight male, the titties.
