It's just the icing on a rather delectable cake.

Also, Ako, why is Sephiroth lazy? Becase he's encased in Mako gathering power? Because he has the mental strength to control a race-slaughtering entity into doing his bidding? ...Idiot...

You clearly don't know what you're talking about here, so I think it's best for all of us if you just be quiet from now on. |

Agreed. Play the game through and through again. You definitely missed a lot of points in there.

VII was an amazing game, yes I admit it's not my favorite, but it's one of my favorite. Top 3 in fact. It starts off a little slow but what the hell do you want? If it didn't the entire game wouldn't make sense at all to you. |

				  >_<...I did miss a lot of points. It was stupid that I said that...

I played sections on my brother's saved game, so everything would jump around, I played mostly for the battling (which was lots o' fun) and never stopped to think about what was happening (it has been two years since we've had the game). I would skim through the cutscenes and not completely catch the storyline...now I wanna completely play it, but my brother sold it, so I'll have to rent it (if Blockbuster even has it...).

I might be giving out the wrong message here about the game, but for the little I played, I liked it. I have no problems with it ^__^;; (except my friends talk about it night and day and I feel left out cause my brother sold it and I only played parts of it...>_>). |

FFX, kingdom hearts, and FFIX are my faves.

FFX because of Measter Seymour! YAy! I frikkin hated Yuna because she was annoying and had a crappy voice actor

Kingdom hearts because I got to mash buttons and there was a nightmare before christmas level.

FFIX because you could rename all the chars. I had loads of fun with that I named Zidane "I smell" Don't get me wrong I loved Zidane, it was just funny to have him introduce himself as "I smell".

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is not a "real" FF (as in: plot-and-character driven RPG) . _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

				| No, that's true. It's really out there, wonder why they even gave it an FF name...? Also, just a quick thing for people who like the FF Tactics. Do you prefer the GBA one, or the PS one? |

=_= The GBA one RUINED everything. I was interested in it when I found out about it, but then I played a bit and the storyline sucked so much, I wanted to cry. Not nearly as intriguing as the PSX one.

I mean. Wtf. A book about "Final Fantasy". <<;;; Give me a break. They hardly even tried when they made that game. _________________

What about lesser-known titles such as "Final Fantasy Adventure" or the "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest" series?

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles at least paid homage to the 'traditional' FF's with its monsters and bosses (based mostly on their FF9 versions) . _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

				| oh well, we'll have to asume that Crystal Chronicles was given a Final Fantasy name for a reason. It doesn't matter if it doesn't relate (it really doesn't) I still think we should stick to the Final Fantasy 1-12 or any of the traditional ones. Tactics could be counted, but they don't relate as closely either |

Heehee. Mystic Quest was like a beginner's RPG. RPG for babies. You know. It was that easy. =P
Tactics could be counted, but they don't relate as closely either
Actually, the only thing different about it is the fact that it doesn't use the same battle system. Hence why it was called "Tactics", rather than "VIII". It's still a plot-driven RPG, though. It's just an SRPG now.

I don't own a GC, so I can't really comment of CC.

If we're going to talk about Final Fantasies which aren't traditional (as in plot-driven, as Strata defined), what about XI? I hardly say that's anywhere near the apparent "traditional" Final Fantasy. But I can't elab on this 'cause I haven't played this, either. _________________
