Harry Potter, Mudblood Or Pureblood

I read it the 2nd book that Riddle said. "You'll be with you're filth mudblood mother soon" me and a friend of mine always have a fight to see if he's a mudblood or pureblood. so what do you guyes think?

Harry IS NOT MUDBLOOD... James was a wizard and Lily was a witch.
Besides, when Riddle was stating that line, he was talking about LILY being a mudblood. not Harry.

His mother was Muggle, His father was a wizard
Harry is half and Half

That's the same thing as being a mudblood,

full wizerd+1/2 wich= half wizerd or mudblood

Actually harry is a Mudblood, trust me I've read the books many many times. Lilly wasn't even mudblood both her parents were "muggles" and James was pureblood so that would make Harry 3/4 full blood...

Mudblood is when a witch/wizard is MUGGLE BORN. Therefore, Lily is a "mudblood" yet Harry isn't. He can't be. Lily was a witch. James, a wizard.
Harry is NOT a mudblood!

now could you?

Its like saying your mother was half white half black (nothing against them, just an example)

And having your dad as full white.

You still have the black blood in you, it doesnt change just because its a generation down.

So thereforth, a Mudblood.

Actually Herminoe was born to muggle parents, if I read correctly. I think what J.K. is emplying that it that it goes down the line, and is just a gift that some have somedon't, kinda like that way eye/hair color sometimes is random or from a few generations ago, opr is like your mom or dads...

A Mudblood is when you are a witch or wizard with two muggle parents, which Lily was. His father was pureblooded (can't remeber where I read that).

If you are born of muggle parents and are a witch, it's because some trace of magic has lied dormant until it woke up in one single child. That was the case with Lily. Harry had two magic-oriented parents, meaning he wasn't a mudblood.

He's half-blood cause his dad was pure blooded and his mother was mud-blood. That doesn't make Harry one, it makes him HALF-BLOODED.

he is half- and -half. its ron whu is pure blood and hermione whu is muggle-born(i wont use the term mudblood on her)
