Common newbie misconception. The message says "usually within 8 hours, often much faster" -- it does NOT, in fact, say "at the most". It's an [i]estimate[/i], not a maximum.

I have a question.When i go to add a story i click add fanart and scrow down intill i see add a story or whatever.Well i clicked the add a story not the chapter and i fill out all the info and then i click add.Well when i go to see if i can re-read my story,its blank. what do i do?

okay..I tried to submit my fanart...It's 300KB It's 371 X 275 It's a .bmp file...why isn't it accepting my fanart?

BMP images are not allowed because of their lack of file compression.

A 640x480 BMP (24bit color depth), for example, will always weigh in at about [b]900kb.[/b]

A JPEG of the same dimensions will generally weigh in at 150kb or less, and a GIF usually will, as well. (Actual results vary according to image content).

Lately when i have clicked on links such as change personal photo a screen pops up that says that it has been disabled and that i do not have permission to be on this part of the control panel. why is it that with some things i can not use them?

That's because of the 'Sandbox' system. Don't worry, those features will become available to you as you participate in the forums.
