Um, yeah. . .this is what I'm working on right now.

It still needs a lot of work. I plan on coloring it with colored pencils, although I am very skeptical with the idea.

Ya'll know I can't color for the life of me, so I'm currently practicing on Photoshop.

I just finished this line art for one of my Babes & Blades art. I plan to color this using whatever Photoshop skills I've learned.

Currently working on a few progects, one being a poster sized chalk pastel/charcole portrait of my friend on black paper, another being a charcole drawing I'm doing for fun, and a few paintings for my painting class...

Usually I don't see much point in showing WIP's, I take the stance of "it'll be ready when it's ready". Besides, some of my ideas are pretty crazy, it'd ruin the surprise if I said what it was while I'm still working on it.

And, three, I find it just a little bit annoying when some people submit both the WIP and finished version to their FAC accounts near simultaneously (e.g., "My Character (WIP)" and "My Character (Colored!)") . Why bother?

But, as I don't sit down to draw that often these days, a WIP a day can keep the questions away ... or something like that.

I've been working on random drawings and doodles, but I've started up a really fun project on the side.

A bit of explanation first: I'm in Japan for the summer, and one of the coolest things about this place is that transparent umbrellas are really common and really cheap - you can buy one for about $2. I've been having grand dreams for the past month of decorating an umbrella with colored Sharpie permanent markers to get some sort of stained glass effect (markers used on the inside, of course, to prevent it all from smearing when it rains). Only problem was that I didn't have any Sharpies.

It was really quite random, but my friend sent me a whole bunch of colored Sharpies as an early birthday present. Score! I ran out, bought an umbrella, and started Sharpie-ing away. Here is what I've got so far. I'll be adding more to it soon!

BTW, the dragon is Flykyr Skysong, my little golden dragon that's been around for years. And the fish is Fish. He is special and can float in midair and do all sorts of things.

I'm painting a mural on my wall. I've always wanted to make my room "my own" In this is how I chose to do it. ^_^ I'm not even half done with it though... It's what I'm doing for my 4-H project.

---That coloring a clear umbrella to make it look like a stained glass window is a groovy idea. ^_^

Quatre, you should post a picture! Painting my walls has always been a dream of mine. . . . .
Maybe when I get my own place one of these days.

Hmm, it's been a while. My newest project is this big Bleach mondo collage thing.
I'm working on some new styles...

It's not particularly a WIP, but I don't feel like digging up the old sketch thread.

A study for another bigger piece could qualify as being part of a bigger WIP I guess.

20 minute photoshop colors of the doodle I put in this thread earlier.

Don't know why I'm posting this.....wasn't going to.. told myself not to.. but anyway. This is what I'm currently working on. I still have a little to do on the face/chin. The ears look off cuz they are just the base. I havn't actually started on them yet. I'm gonna be working on a background that involves pokemon plushies so yeah.. it's taking awhile. This is supposed to be a famous type person.. though I won't say who.... cuz it seems less sucky if it's just supposed to be some random person and not someone i tried to capture and failed.
