| Heh, spelling errors happen. I haven't been to Japan ina while (2 years to be exact) Let's see. I can tell you guys this much, it's very crowded. The population density is very high, so anyone who wants to move there, my advice is don't. It's fun to visit at as a tourist though. On the plus side, a note to people who like manga. Most of the libraries have many shelves filled with the books. There's even one really big one (which name escapes me) roughly 5 stories high. The 1st story is entirely devoted to manga books. It's huge. Some people claim every manga series created is stored in there. Judging from the size, it's not hard to believe. (hi Rita-chan! Sorry, had to say hi. ^^) |

Crowded? Eh, depends on where you are. It gets pretty barren once you move away from the cities, and even though Kyoto's a large city, parts of it feel very peaceful, serene, and... empty. I love it. :D
What is this library of which you speak?! Is it in Tokyo? *drools a bit* I've finally gotten to the point where I can actually struggle through a Japanese manga tankoubon and understand about half of what is being said. Which means I can actually follow what's going on. So exciting! |

| I *can* read through a manga, but only with the help of my dictionary. ^^ The average time it takes me to translate a single book is roughly an hour. |
On the plus side, a note to people who like manga. Most of the libraries have many shelves filled with the books. Yup, that's me. Every bookstore you go at my place has manga. It's a Japanese boy's hobby to collect manga. They're everywhere! My personal favorite manga is Tokyo Underground. (I shall stop here, there should be a manga thread here somewhere...) _________________ When we both rule the world, we will be entertained by the little things. |

| I do not understand the last post. Speaking of "nasty things", porn shops are rather prevalent in Japan. Oh... wait. We've already had this discussion. XD |
