"Tested on" = Infused with Jenova cells by Hojo. (So was Zack).

Cloud never made it into Soldier, but he did hear this "awesome story" by his friend Zack, and so... he made those memories his own.

Oops, spoiler. As if we need to issue that warning for a game that's almost ten years old Razz

His maniacal tendincies were sparked by his knowledge of Jenova. She didn't control his mind as soon as he read about her - he learned and thought that he had a claim to the planet. Don't you hate it when people take something you believe is yours? Don't you strive to retrieve it?
It was during this time when Cloud and Zack were placed in the cryo-tubes, down in the Shinra Mansion, that the Jenova cells intermingled their memories which is why Cloud thought he made it into SOILDER and was assigned along with Sepiroth to investigate the Nibelhiem reactor
Are you just retarded? Zack got killed by Sephiroth back in the Mt. Nibel reactor, Cloud saved Tifa, and took Zack's sword from his DEAD body and sneak attacked Sephiroth. There weren't any cryotubes in Shinra Mansion. Wow, blew that whole theory didn't I?
Cloud did not simply say "Hey what a cool story Zack! "Let me pretend I have his memories." That would just be dumb
Okay, now let's see you witness your hometown burn down, seeing your dead mother, and already being paranoid about your current life. The dude was messed up in the head, it's not that hard to screw up your memory. Split-personality much?? Razz
The thought of "claiming" the planet never crossed his mind until he met Jenova. And when he did say he would claim the planet he said it would be for her. (Sounds like a momma's boy to me......and a puppet)
The thought of "claiming" the planet crossed his mind when he read about his past and the past of the ancients. If you noticed he hadn't touched Jenova until after he gave his entire speech to Cloud in the basement of the Shinra Mansion. He killed everyone and headed towards Mt. Nibel. You should seriously just play the game again and STOP making references to the puppet line that was used, what, TWICE in the game AND the movie put together????
The fact that she used the Cetra's minds to destroy them shows she is "very" capable of taking over anyone's mind.
Alright, this is the only thing I'll admit I'm not sure about, but seriously. Prove to me that THAT is how she was killing off Cetra. I'm pretty sure it was some Cetra that stopped and made camp for the first time, gained possessiveness, and broke out in war with each other. If anything they stopped moving to make a stand against Jenova. I don't know where the hell you got this mind control s**t in your head, but prove your VALID source, not an opinion, and I'll go with it.
However, it was only up until he met and interfused with Jenova that he lost control over his will.
Burned down the town, BEFORE he even saw her.
As I said earlier all of this "I want to be a God stuff" never came up until he met Jenova. Because even after he burns down Nibelheim, he does not speak of such thoughs until he sees Jenova.
Wrong order. Unless you consider being outside of the concealed door with the robot body in front of the real Jenova "seeing."
since the siler haired men are searching for Jenova's body
You know, you can be searching for something that is dead, right?
And yes, I've seen the trailer plenty of times.
On a side note, it seems I know hell of alot more than you, but hey, i am just a n00b right?
On a side note, it seems I just raped you up the ass, but hey, you're still just a n00b. Wink

Ok you guys...this was a thread to hear people's THEORIES meaning that we don't have to have arguments of whether something true or not. You guys are getting mad at each other because they say that their theory is wrong. Sure it would be nice to hear the truth but you guys are yelling at each other because you're saying that what other people are saying is wrong. What the hecks up with that? If what you say is true then you don't have to explode into other people's faces because of what they thought happened. Geez you guys, whats wrong with you?

As you said earlier, we all have our opinions and in the end, not much will be done to change them. But there's a couple of points I'd like to bring up.

Firstly, it's Sephiroth that calls the clones for the reunion in the crater. Whilst he would have the head of Jenova with him, he lost the Black Materia thanks to Jenova-Death. (You obtain the Black Materia after beating her.) Why would Jenova be stupid enough to have something so important left with only a part of herself? (Birth, Life and Death were only parts of Jenova, I say this because after beating Birth you can see the arm on the boat.) He would need a way to get it back, and he'd have to think of a way by himself. Jenova proved to be pointless, and he'd killed the clones by this point. Which is why he manipulates one of your party to get it.

My second point brings me back to my first post in this topic. Why do you fight Jenova-Synthesis when she could easily have Sephiroth do it? You answered this by saying that it is simply Jenova fighting with your party mentally, and this is a fair point. But we know that by this point, Jenova does have a physical body. The purpose of the reunion was to recombine all of the parts of Jenova. Even her name, Jenova-Synthesis backs this up. "Synthesis" is defined as "the combining of separate elements or substances to form a coherent whole" by Dictionary.com
So we can say that Jenova does have a physical body, and is simply hiding it from Cloud & co. Not surprising, considering they defeated some of her individual parts. She planned to have herself recombined for nothing. So if Sephiroth is Jenova's puppet, why does she bother making him go through all of his forms? The psychological games Sephiroth played with Cloud and the final battle of the two in Cloud's mind would serve no purpose. The only reason for this is that it's Sephiroth in control. He won't be happy until he wins, or he's dead. Jenova would have nothing to gain from faking this vendetta, and so it can't be her in control.

Wow, that was a lot.
Because if you actually went back to Nibel in the Shinra mansion basement after the meteor is summoned
Why the hell would I have done that waste of time instead of just beating the game and going on with my actual life? How would I have even known to go there specifically at that time unless I was using something to HELP beat the game? Maybe you should layoff the guides and try playing the game yourself hmm??
You know, people in real life lose there families and hometowns in war, but they don't become paranoid retards like you described Cloud to be after the Nibel incident.
Wake up and smell the bombshells.
Yes he did not touch Jenova until after his rampage. However, when he does get there and takes her head and then dies after Cloud's attack, thats when his motives become hers.
Didn't you say her motives were already his? Something about him already being injected with Jenova cells and already being controlled....hmm??
What the f**k does that have to do with what i just said? Please reread my above comment since you need multiple explinations.
Sephiroth obviously already had a plan set out now didn't he? Why else would he have done everything and even gone to his "mother" if the entire thing was his doing.
Finally a different question. Hmmm you never though about Jenova's head that Sepiroth took with him when he fell down the reactor. This means that her head, the only part she needs to live is with Sepiroth's real body, crysilized in the crater. Why do you think in the whole game you only fight different body parts of her? Besides just like Sepiroth it can all be just a mental projection.
..............
The purpose of the reunion was to recombine all of the parts of Jenova.
Or, since you're so fond of your "mind control" theory. If the mind projection is all due to Sephiroth's ability, and Sephiroth gets killed by Cloud (you lose your mind, you lose your life), and Jenova is a parasite, feeding off Sephiroth.......hmmmm.....can't live long without a host now can you?
Also, what about Holy at the very end of the game? It would have killed any trace of Jenova. You like quoting the game so much..what was that quote of how it would destroy anything that was a danger to the world? Just because I said I didn't know much doesn't mean I don't know enough to disprove your theories time and time again.
And if I remeber correctly the title n00b is given to someone who doesn't know s**t about something meaning.....you alone. (You know the least on this whole thread).
The title n00b is given to you fucktards who disrespect their forum elders. Knowledge apparently isn't enough to get through to you about your dumbass theories. Think them through and actually take in advice from your elders. f**king kids these days. Rolling eyes Need to learn you some forum manners.

O...kay, Elbreth (Steven).

Hn... looks like arguing is the only thing you do in here, so I deleted my post...

Rest assured I won't stay here to argue with you because you seem to be the one who didn't read what this is actually all about...

In dem Sinne... Du kannst mich mal! ^_^

Well argued Ye Olde J, the sheer volume of evidence you've given to support your point has changed my mind.

Oh wait. No.

Have you been reading this thread?

Erm, I've read every post word for word... you clearly didn't... what did you add to the theory? Theories are usually backed with evidence are they not?

So...

How is that a Final Fantasy VII theory? :z

And it's not being remade, it was simply a tech-demo.

Well you never know, millions of fans, such as myself, have wanted it to be remade, and there could be a chance of them remaking it. I was just stating what was coming out. Also I forgot to mention you get Last Order: Final Fantasy VII, an anime of the events with Zack and Cloud before FF7, if you get the Ultimate Edition of AC, Advent Pieces.

Youichi Wada has already stated that the game won't be remade, and I've no idea where you're getting this anime sequence from, the special edition comes with:

-Final Fantasy VII Digest*
-Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Official trailer
-Compilation of Final Fantasy VII Trailer

Furthermore, this box set will ship with the following items:
-A figure set of Cloud and his motorcycle
-A voice recording-enabled libretto replica

-Final Fantasy VII International (this four-disc set will come in a special packaging)

A special DVD featuring the following contents:

Final Fantasy VII Digest being a compilation of the video sequences in the original game. I see no mention of any anime.

ok whatever people. this is getting out of hand. time to move onto another theory. Silver and Red Chocobos. it is said that a silver Chocobo can go under the ocean. some crap about being able to bring Aeris/th back to life. the Red Chocobo is said to go to the moon. What you would find there, I don't know. but, even if they were in the game, how would you get them hmmm? I mean, you CAN use a gameshark to alter a chocobo's color, but other than that, they don't have any abilities. Then again, this is just a theory Wink

Nah, the whole chocobo thing is bollocks. If it was real I reckon we'd have heard about it from more people, plus it's always funny when you hear rumours about flying onto meteor to fight the Octagon Weapon.

But there is actually a red chocobo, it's one of your opponents at the chocobo races at Gold Saucer.
